Shattered

Part 3

As Pearl lunges forward. Steven jumps in front of the other two gems and summons his shield a loud KLAAAANG is heard throughout the battle field.

"Heh funny is it not?" Pearl says with a slight laugh in her voice. "Never thought id be back here fighting especially with you but fate has its ways." Pearl says before readying another attack.

Steven grabs both Amethyst and Peridots hands and dodges Pearl's attack just barely before booking it to the warp pad his running challenging a sapphire.

"Oh no you don't." Pearl says chucking a spear at the grous which Steven dodges with ease before warping away.

The house feels empty as Steven drops his friends and lays on the couch panting as they think of a way to poof Pearl. They each throw out ideas that wouldn't work until Steven says his and the gems realize that's the one before putting it into play.

Pearl warps to the house her blood is boiling when she hears a THUUUD from down on the beach.

"Gotcha now" Pearl says smugly in her head as she jumps of the porch and lands on the beach only to be greeted by Stevens voice from under the porch.

"HEY PEARL!" Steven shouts getting her attention as she notices Roses cannon pointed at her she does a chuckle and before she can react Steven speaks.

"IF EVERY PORKCHOP WERE PERFECT WE WOULDN'T HAVE HOT DOGS!" Steven shouts as the cannon fires at Pearl poofing her instantly.

"WE DID IT!" Amethyst exclaims a sheer look of happiness and relief on her face.

"WE SHOWED THAT CLOD WHO'S BOSS!" Peridot exclaims before going up to Pearls gem and picking it up before handing it to Steven.

"Here you go." Peridot says handing the gem to Steven who looks confused.

"What do you want me to do with it?" Steven ask Peridot shrugs. Steven thinks for a second before knowing what to do. Steven walks up to the side of the mountain and puts Pearls gem under his foot. As he begins to crush the gem the sounds of cracking glass s heard and it echos through the heads of the Shorty Squad.

Then suddenly with a loud CRACK Pearls gem shards fall out form underneath Stevens foot. Steven looks shocked at what he had just done then takes some deep breaths and calms down as the shards mixed with the sand becoming inseprable.

"C'mon guys, lets go inside." Steven says before the trio walk silently inside.
