Chapter 1

Hey my name is Joanna Kemble, I'm tall, blonde with blue eyes, I'm a cheerleader and i have all of the boys at my feet. I'm 17 and I have to say that i have a GREAT life.

Oh wait sorry i was describing who i want to be, I'm not all of that at all to be honest, I'm the opposite. I'm a brunette, with dark blue eyes with a sparkle of grey in them i wear glasses, I'm small, I'm intelligent. Yes, I'm the school's nerd. I get pushed around by the populars but oh well I'm still here lol, i wear no makeup and i stay positive because life goes on.

Today was the day i was changing state because of my parents work, to be honest i wasn't sad at all because i had no friends here and this was the right time to make a new start. I finish packing my stuff and i put it in the car. I go back inside and find a note on the table with a little box next to it. The note said "Hey sweetie i wanted to give you this little gift because you really deserve it, i know you've always wanted to have some and i managed to get the money to buy you some! i love you. mom xx" i smiled while reading it and i opened the little box carefully, i found contact lens! I've always wanted some so that i can get rid of these horrible glasses, i threw the glasses in the bin and went to the bathroom and i slid the contacts on my eyes, it hurt a bit at the start but then i blinked a few times and it was all good. I'll thank my mom later.

I went back outside and put the rest of the suitcases in the car, both of my parents came out and put the rest of the stuff in the car.

"Are you ready to go ?" My dad said.

"Yessss" i say with a big smile on my face.

"Okay well let's go!" My mom says

I got in the car and passed out straight away.

*SKIP THE CAR RIDE*

I slep the whole way, the car stopped and i got out.

"We're here !" My dad said

The house was enormous ! I took my suitcase and ran up the stairs into my room, it was beautiful ! My mom came in and sat on my bed.

"Hey sweetie did you like the present i bought you?" she said

"No i don't like it, i love it" i said and hugged my mom.

"I'm happy that you liked it, sweetie me and your dad need to go for a week and a bit because of our work, I'm sorry, don't worry we'll leave you some food and a credit card." she said.

I really didn't want them to leave because i have school tomorrow but oh well I'm used to them being gone so yeah. We both went down stairs and i hugged my mom and dad and they left the stuff that i need on the table and they left.

I went back to my room and laid down on my bed and sighed. I decided to go to the mall and change everything about me. I got in my car and drove there, it was 10 minutes away from the house so it didn't take very long to get there. First i went to Forever 21, H&M, Victoria secret and lots of other shops ! I went to the mall's bathroom and changed into an outfit, i felt good. Then i went to sephora and NAKED to buy some makeup. I bought myself a few pairs of shoes too, 1 pair of vans, one pair of converse, 1 pair of combat boots and one pair of heels. I was happy with what i bought and i went home, once i got home i applied some makeup, it was hard because i never used to wear any. I had to start again a few times but i finally found what i like. Mascara, winged eyeliner, foundation and red lipstick, the lipstick wasn't very visible so it was okay. I went back downstairs and had my dinner. It was getting late and i decided to go to bed, and just saying i sleep in my bra and panties and not a large t shirt or a top and some shorts. Yes i know I'm weird, lol. I layed in my bed and smiled to myself because i was proud of myself and i fell asleep.
