The alarm blared beside you as the sunshine hit your face slowly making no less than a goddess. And obviously, you think you did look ugly there. You opened your eyes only to shut them back again, binding by the bright light, that you weren't adjusted with

Stretching your body, you got up and went to do your daily morning business in the bathroom.

After deciding to wear something professional, the suit you were wearing showed your body well and made you look beautiful even in the office attire, you had a nice body and you ain't denying that doing minimal makeup, you headed to the company not before grabbing your bag and an apple to satisfy your big appetite a bit as you didn't want to be late on the very first day.

Reaching the company, you took a deep breath hoping your first day would go well, without making any clumsy mistakes you always do. Your thoughts got interrupted when you heard a voice surely calling your name. The voice was oddly familiar.

"Miss Y/n !!"

You turned around to find one of the men who took your interview, walking towards you, waving his hand

"Oh Good morning Sir"

"Good morning and drop the formalities, call me Hoseok, and let's be friends."

You smiled, at the friendly man before you, thinking that you will at least have a friend in this whole massive company

"Ok. And you can call me Y/n."

"You are too early. Nervous for your first day?" Hoseok asked taking a glance at his watch and you crisp our a yes

"Come on there's no need to be nervous. Just do what the CEO wants you to do and you'll be fine. Now there's a lot of time left, let me show you the company"

And with that, you both headed inside.

"And this the cafeteria"

Hoseok showed you the whole office and she was awestruck by how clean the company was. Everything in its place and order.

"Now let me show you your office. Your office desk will be in the same cabin as the CEO's office" Hoseok informed

'same cabin?'

You nodded as you both made your way to the top floor of the building

Upon entering the elevator, you saw the same arrogant man that you bumped with, yesterday.

"Oh, Jungkook you're here. Jungkook meet Y/n, the manager I told you that will be working under you and Y/n meet the CEO of this company, Jeon Jungkook"

Your eyes, if possible went bigger than the size of a football. You knew you had already messed up sensing his aura. But you didn't let that take over that dread feeling you suddenly smelled in the air.

"Good morning Mr. Jeon" you bowed to which he just hummed, didn't expected a greeting back.

The elevator dinged as it indicating that you have reached. Getting off and turning right, you finally reached Jungkook's office cum your office also.
[A/n: don't you dare think something else]

"Bye Y/n and best of luck" Hoseok went off bidding them a bye with a big smile

Jungkook entered his office with you following behind, quietly. Trying not to trip on the shiny tile floor

The office was neat and everything just in place which left you amazed. The view from the office was to die for. Beside his table, a few distances away, you saw a table, with a nameplate, with your name already set on it. You quietly looked around when a sound of a throat clearing made you look at the source which was coming from none other Jungkook, aka your boss.

"That will be your table from now on. Do your assigned work properly and don't give me a chance to question you. Now you may go and sit. Here are some files, go through it and correct if there is any mistake" he said monotonously handling the files.

You stopped the urge to roll your eyes at the robotic speech he spoke out. You simply took the files, went to your assigned table, and started going through them.

Jungkook was already on his table going through some files and typing on his computer. But after a moment his eyes got fixed to the girl present in the same room as his. He looked at how you bit your lips as your eyes went through each line. Your fingers holding the pen so dedicatedly.

Jungkook couldn't help but stare at you. He didn't know what was going on but his heart would skip a beat whenever his eyes would land on your figure. His cold heart just suddenly received some warmth and he could feel it

On the other hand, you were still annoyed that the cold young man was your boss. And top of that you were not at all aware that a pair of eyes were looking at you. After a long moment, you stopped and looked around, Jungkook sensing it, he quickly averted his eyes. You think it to be just a feeling, shrugged it off, and went back to your files, sulking much.

Hours passed, you came back to your world when your stomach grumbled. Side effects of not having breakfast. You looked at the wristwatch only to see it was lunchtime. You closed the files and stretched your stiff body. Sitting in one position for hours had made your body sore. Suddenly the door barged open revealing Hoseok

"Y/n!, let's go and have lunch together", pointing his finger towards Jungkook he sternly said, "and you are also having with us and no buts"

With that being the friendly bug he is dragged you with him. Jungkook couldn't help but trailed his eyes towards your figure as you exited the room. Your suit fits you properly showing your curves at the right place which Jungkook can't help but think about it. Your face was beautiful without heavy makeup. Black color matched your milky skin. He closed his eyes as he thought about you

"Stop it Jungkook what's wrong with you. Focus on your work and don't think about her."

Jungkook gradually said in his own mind but his heart wasn't gonna listen to him. He let out a deep breath and walked out of the room.
