Chapter 19- Safe

Regina's POV

We waited out front by the car for Emma. I couldn't stop thinking about how badass she was and how Robin was actually gone for good. After all those times I thought about killing him, I still can't believe he's dead. He's finally out of my life forever. I was stuck in a trance and apparently crying, but it broke when Ivy touched my arm.
"Regina, love, are you okay?" I slowly nodded and mumbled "Emma". I need to see her. About 5 minutes later I looked up to see her walking towards us. I kicked off my heels, lifted my dress and ran to her. I jumped in her arms and she caught me before I made us fall. She noticed my tears and held on to me tight.

"Hey, GiGi what's wrong?" I cleared my throat and buried my face into her neck.

"Thank you" I whispered. Emma took my pinky into hers and rubbed the top of my hand with her thumb to soothe my trembling.

" You're welcome love. I told you I'd protect you didn't I?" With my head on her shoulder I nodded again.

"Mhm" after a bit longer I pulled away and wiped the rest of my tears. Ivy was already in the car waiting for us, Emma opened my door and helped me in before she got in. Once she was completely in I snuggled close to her letting the exhaustion and stress from tonight take over me. When we got home, We all took showers, took off our makeup and celebrated with champagne.

"Hey guys, I'll be back, I need to use the restroom. Again." I said, walking towards the stairs.

"Small bladder!" Ivy yelled. I gave her the middle finger and continued upstairs.

Emma's POV

I heard a knock at the door and looked at Ivy. She had the same confused expression as me. She quickly pulled out her strap that was hidden in one of the cabinets. She gave me a nod and I proceeded to look through the peephole. I stepped back and looked at Ivy in a panic.

"Who's here?" She whisper yelled.

"It's Headmaster." I said, my heart started racing. The last thing I need is for him to find out I've been affiliating myself with a person I robbed from, and also knew before robbing. This could ruin my life, Regina's, and now Ivy's because she knows.

"Don't panic. I'll text Regina and tell her to stay put upstairs." I saw Ivy grab her phone and text Regina to stay upstairs and don't come down until we tell her to. Ivy put her gun away and looked around to see if anything was out of place before I opened the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door.

Headmaster's POV

The door opens and I see Emma and Ivy with champagne but there are three glasses. "Headmaster what are you doing here?" Emma says, giving me a small smile

"I wanted to come congratulate you in person on completing the first step of your mission tonight. Is there anyone else here?" I asked, referring to the three glasses. "Thank you, Headmaster we appreciate it and no, it's just us." Did Oro just lie to my face? "Why are there three glasses of champagne?" I pointed to the three glasses.

"Oh that's because I forgot I already poured myself a glass when I poured this one" Ivy said, grabbing her glass.

"Oh, well you must've been pretty excited about your win tonight." I said, staring at Emma. She seemed off, but I'm going to assume she's tired. At least that's what I hope it is considering her behavior lately.

"Yeah, I killed Robin, but now we know who to look for when we go to Paris." Emma said, looking over at me with a small smile.

"Yes. The second part of the mission is to go to Paris and find SW. Once you find SW, you will report back and bring them to Ivy's Headquarters, which is established in Paris. Also Neal will be joining you on this mission." I said, seeing Emma's eyes light up.
