She'd broken up with Ranveer just over two weeks ago. He expected her to be Leela and she was nothing like her. Not to mention he was controlling and wanted to decide what movies she did. She wasn't at all upset about it. She just felt alone.

It was 10:30 at night when her doorbell rang. She had been about to order Chinese. She opened her door and saw none other than her best friend and ex, Ranbir Kapoor, standing on her doorstep. Before she could get a word out, words were tumbling out of his mouth.

'I love you. I love you so much it hurts, and I don't know what to do anymore.' He was looking at her with those sad eyes that she never could resist. She looked at him properly and saw bags under his eyes. His hair was messier than usual and she knew he hadn't changed or showered in days. So she did the only logical thing. She took a hold of his hand and pulled him inside.

The door had barely shut and she was kissing him, or maybe he had been the one to kiss her, neither of them could be entirely sure. At that moment she couldn't think why she had broken up with him or why she had refused to take him back. And then he was backing her up to the wall, or maybe she was walking backwards and pulling him a long, she couldn't be sure. All thought left her head as her back hit the wall and his lips trailed over the exposed skin of her neck.

'God, I've missed you, Ranbir.' She gasped out.

'I've missed you, too, ' he whispered, as though afraid that if he spoke any louder she would disappear.

'Ranbir...Hold on a minute.' He pulled away and looked at her. 'I love you.' She said it so quietly he wouldn't have heard if he hadn't been so close. A grin spread across his face and he leaned down to kiss her gently. He pulled away and looked at her straight in the eye.

'I love you too. I always will.'
