The Lamb found it's Gardian. The lamb never repaid it's Gardian, so the Gardian left it's lamb, The lamb is all alone and needs no one but it's Gardian. The Gardian remembers the lamb he could trust and care for with nothing bad happening but still searches for new meat to "protect" even when the Gardian misses the lamb. The lamb died with out it's Gardian, and the Gardian is to blame for leaving his lamb when the lamb would not, could not do anything to hurt it;s Gardian.
