Shinso began to feel a familiar growing discomfort in his boxers before he drifted off to sleep. At first, it didn't bother him too much. But after about ten minutes of him just being hard, he couldn't take it anymore. He pulled his boxers down and his hard member almost sprung out. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Shinsou didn't even have so much as a clue on how he got so aroused let alone how he got aroused so quickly.  Nevertheless, he needed to take care of it. Shinsou began to stroke his member up and down. Although he was just trying to get rid of the hard-on, his mind began to drift off.

"

You do realize that she can hear you, right?"

Shinso responded to the girls in a cold and sarcastic tone. His eyes shot daggers at the girls as one of them turned around to respond.

"So what? If she hears, let her! That doesn't mean she can understand us. "

Almost instantly, the girl entered a mindless state.

"That should shut her up." He said.

Shinso turned to look at the girl he had just defended. But, he didn't understand what they were teasing her about. Of course, she had patches covering her from head to toe. But, there was nothing wrong with her. Actually, he thought she was actually pretty attractive. Her skin resembled molten dark chocolate and her figure was curvaceous. She was a bit on the tiny side when came to her height, but it worked on her. Her eyes were doll-like in appearance. Big, and expressive, but looked glazed over. He quickly looked at his notebook, hoping that she didn't notice his quick glance.

"You can sit by me if you want,'' he grumbled.

"Umm, Thanks!"

The girl walked by the group who was harassing her. The girls were practically shuddering as they walked by. They were trying to snap their beloved friend out of her mindless trance. The smaller girl, however, walked by and smiled triumphantly. When she finally made her way next to Shinsou, she gave him a warm look and mouthed the words 'Thank you' in Japanese as the teacher got back to her lesson.  Before Shinsou could even respond, the girl turned her head around to pay attention to the lesson.

'God, what's up with me? I need to focus on my work.'

Shinso shook his head and covered his face from the nose down. As the class progressed, he would catch himself looking at the girl from the corner of his eye. But every time he looked at her, he noticed something new. One time he can look at her and noticed that her nails were shaped like daggers and were painted pitch black. The next moment he noticed that her patches of fabric were pastel purple, burgundy, and a pale red.

As the lunch bell rang, Shinso looked over the girl's direction once more. He noticed that people were actively avoiding her. She took out a small little plastic container with some kind of rice. She looked over at Shinso and waved over to him. Shinso kept a completely dead pan expression as he moved his desk over to sit with her. But as he moved closer to her, everyone in the class was actively avoided both of them. It was nothing too new to him and yet he was somewhat bothered by this when it happened to somebody else.

"What are you eating?" he asked inquisitively

"Jambalaya. You want some?"

"What's jambalaya?"

"Ummm….It's rice, seasoning….Fuck how do you say that word….Oh, meat!!, And...Ummmm… Vegetables. At least that's….Jesus how do you say it in Japanese?! "

"Hmmm?"

"I don't know...This word in Japanese...It was at the… Tip of my tongue…"

"Oh...You're from America right?"

"Yeah...Not a lot of people speak Japanese in New Orleans."

"I could tell...No offense."

"None taken!"

"I could tutor you if you wanted..."Shinsou mumbled under his breath

"That would be great! God knows I need it! Ummmm...What day would be good?"

"Tomorrow after school at my dorm would be ok."

"Sure! Wait, where's your dorm?

"I can walk you to my dorm after class tomorrow."

"Oh,  alright. Hold on I never caught your name, new kid."

"My name isn't too important, just call me Voodoo. Hey, I never got your name either."

"Hitoshi Shinso."

Shinso extended his hand out to Voodoo and in return, she shook his hand. Throughout the rest of the lunch hour, all the two did was talk to each other. Although most of the conversation was him correcting her Japanese, Shinso was still thoroughly enjoying himself. So when the bell rang, he felt a small pang of disappointment. But before he moved his desk back, Voodoo passed him a small folded up piece of paper. Although her handwriting was neat, what she wrote directly translated into 'I read'. Shinsou chuckled to himself due to her error and sighed. 'She definitely needs some Japanese lessons.' Once he opened up the folded paper and saw the girl's nickname written English and Japanese, along with her phone number.  Shinsou smirked a little bit as he read the paper. 'Well, at least she knows how to write her nickname.'

The rest of the school day flew by pretty quickly. Once the day was over, Shinsou got up from his desk and he made him towards his dorm. On his way there, he saw the new girl from his class in the hallway, sitting on the floor. She was clearly engrossed in something on her phone. But once he walked a little closer to the female, he noticed that she was watching a horror movie. One that he recognized.

"Do you like Japanese horror films?"

"Yes, but no...I just like horror in general. Anything with blood, gore or the occult I'm practically obsessed with."

"Ah."

Shinsou just smiled at the smaller girl as she watched her horror movie. He almost got caught up in it himself. However, he noticed that her Japanese was worse than he thought it was originally. Some of the words were replaced by words in English and others were pronounced completely wrong. Although he brushed it off during class, now he felt the need to do something about it. He sat on the floor right next to his classmate and turned his head to look at her.

"Voodoo. Let's start those tutoring sessions a little early."

"Huh? I can't understand you."

Shinsou sighed to himself and ran his hands through his lilac-colored hair.

'At least she can say that fluently.'
