Strawberries

I'm not good at making long chapters so bare with me for a while please!!

     You sighed to yourself seeing the line in front of you. All you wanted was some strawberries and now you had to stay here for who knows how long. You giggle to yourself as the thought of stealing comes to mind,
 
               'I'm not a bad person.'

    You shyly comprehend, trying to think of anything else. The line finally moved as you brushed a piece of your silky (h/l) (h/c) hair out of your face.

     After what felt like hours you finally checked out and began to walk home. You mentally cursed yourself for not having a car. Well you did, but your roommate mainly used it, and as it turns out, she had just left to visit her mother.

     You were so caught up in your thoughts you weren't paying any attention as to where you were til'–
    
                         'smack'
   
     Cowering back, stunned by the tree you had hit you began rubbing your nose.
   
                         "ow ow ow"
  
     You scream feeling the hot liquid begin rushing from your nose. You stand there stunned for a hot minute before proceeding to get a tissue from your purse.

                  "Ma'am are you alright?"               

      A female voice replied to you with a hint of sympathy in her voice. You whip around to be met with a girl who looked to be 5'7. She had long brown hair which covered one of her eyes. As for the other, it was a beautiful emerald green.

             "I-I'm sorry I'm alright! Haha"

       You look down embarrassed, still holding the now blood soaked tissue in you hand, only to notice the freshly bought strawberries lying on ground.
   
                           "Damn"

        You mumbled to yourself hoping she somehow wouldn't notice the strawberries on the ground.
