✨💫Learning English💫✨

Kim Seokjin POV :

I'm literally throwing my alarm clock across the room, I sigh.

"Just five more minutes!"

Yeah, you could classify me as a typical teen. I somehow manage to slump myself out of my bed and downstairs to eat breakfast. I whip up my favorite cereal, then go back upstairs to take a shower and get dressed. About thirty minutes later, I find myself on the bus. Already wanting to go back home. I look over to my left to see some guy climbing in my seat then asking me something in English. He had nearly yelled, as though he thought I was deaf.

I'm Korean, not deaf. There's a difference.

All I could make out were a few words;

'Hey,' 'from,' and 'Korea,'. I squint my eyes at him, identifying that I have no idea what in the hell this man is saying.

"Uhm..." I stutter. What's 'yes' in English?! I just kinda stayed silent, observing the portly kid in front of me. He seemed like the 'bully' type. If that was even a thing.

He looks up at his friends- who were crowded around our seat- and chuckles.

I think he took the hint that I don't know English well, since he moved away without another word. I shake my head and look out the window. I now impatiently wait for the bus to arrive at the school. My adrenaline had kicked in quite a while ago, and I was almost shaking at how nervous I was for the first day.

After what seemed like forever, we had made it to the school.
I had gripped the straps of my backpack so hard and nervously, my knuckles were turning white, but I didn't care. I walk off the bus, taking a gander at the large school in front of me. I guess paying a large amount of my allowance to go here was worth it.
Until I look to my left, then to my right. The students were just- average Americans. No large glasses and overly-washed, ironed, and perfected uniforms.
Stereotypes are weird.
I finally gather myself, and walk towards the large glass doors. Large meaning literally massive. There was a sign hanging above the doors that read the schools name. Which of course, was in English- but I mean- of course it'd be. It's an American school.
For the most part, I think I'm going to be hopeless at this school. I walk up the steep steps to go through the large doors. The steps where so wide I could hardly get up them without tripping over my own shoes. Standing in the doorway, I look from my left, to my right, then back again to my left, getting my bearings of the school. I'm pretty quick with figuring out were the food is. So instead of going to my first class, I went straight to the cafeteria.

There's someone here too?

Literally just one other person?

I stop in my tracks, when I see a tan-ish looking guy sitting at a red cafeteria table. All by himself. I contemplated going up to him, for a bit.

should I? should I not?

ah~ frick it.

I walk up to the male. His face was currently buried in what seemed to be some kind of novel. He didn't even notice me sitting down beside him, and pulling out a spare sandwich from my pocket.
Yes. A spare sandwich. Hey, you never know when you'll get hungry.
It was cheese and ham, if you were curious.

"Hello..?"

I spoke slowly, tapping the male on the shoulder lightly. I didn't notice too much able the other's appearance, as I'm not really focused on that stuff. Appearance isn't everything. He looked up at me, and it was then when I realized how attractive the man really was.

And holy shit do I mean attractive.

Something heated up inside me at his dirty blonde hair. It was slightly messy, indicating he'd probably been running his fingers through it a bit. The other thing which I noticed, was that he appeared to be Korean.

The male gave me a warm smile, his dimples poking out when he did so.

HOLY HELL THOSE DIMPLES

Is this what fanboying is like?
