It had been two years since endgame. Already 2026. Thanos had set them to a future that skipped years for half of the Avengers. The other half, felt close to death. For years their friends had been dead and had to live with the fact that Thanos "won" even know he didn't. But they didn't know it. And even know he wasn't alive the 5 years of moaning, he felt pain bigger that any of them.
"Quill!! For godsakes, snap out of it!" Rocket yelled. "We get it! She is DEAD! You will have to get over it, you know that right? I'm sorry, but.... She won't come back. Thanos killed her. She... Is... DEAD!!" Rocket added.
"Who now? What are we talking about?" Thor asked.
"None of your business." Peter said, not turning backwards. Just staring at the open galaxy.
"Quill, if your going to get over it, your going to need a new girlfriend." Rocket said persuasively, but NEVER will it be persuasive enough.
--------------------------------------------------2 months later------------------------
"You idiots! What are you going to do with yourselves!" Kitty Pryde smiled.
"Ask Rocket." Quill yelled after her. "So.. How was being an X-men?" Quill asked.
"Fine. Okay. Nothing compared to this!" Kitty laughed. "We have a tree. And a talking raccoon. I think I've seen everything the world has to offer."
"Beware of them though. The raccoon is a jerk. Okay, Kit?" Quill asked.
"Well, I know that." Kitty said. Quill had finally gotten over Gamora. And only one thing could stop Kitty and Him, but of course, that was impossible. Because that one thing, well, it's Gamora herself. And as Quill knows it, she.. is.. dead.
