Liverpool, England (Present Day)
"People, we found a room here!"
"What?"
" Must be a lab World War or something."
" Gosh, this is scary. And here I thought England is through with all of its secrets. But no... The catacombs aren't enough. Secret labs are also here."
"Maybe we can find something worth a penny."
Footsteps were heard all over the chamber as they all have gone through every detail of the lab.
"Hey, Johnny! What era does this look like?"
"Uhhh... Cold war? I can't clearly say."
"So those construction workers aren't lying after all." 2 male voices heard as they conversed.
"Keep out?" A female voice questioned as she then called over her male companions. "What do you think is behind this door?" The female asks as her eyes still looked around the area for more possible clues. "Beth," 'Johnny' started "we have no idea what is behind that door. But there is a possibility that we could find bones." The other male companion went up to the door and try opening it barely as 'Beth' tries to help her friend open a huge, rusty metal door.
"Johnny, we both need help here! Think later." "Sure, Manny!" Johnny answered as he swept his dirty blonde hair away from his field of vision before going over to the duo by the door. They tried to open it, with no luck. As time slowly ticking, they need to think of a plan to open the door. "How about we hit it with a flashlight?" Johnny asked as Manny elbowed him as Beth gasps for air. " You're an idiot," Beth stated before declaring that they should try to open it one last time.
By the last time they tried to open the door, they successfully managed to open it, which led to Beth awing at surprise while both boys tried to gasps for air before standing up straight, facing at the room where the rusty door led to. "The door was locked tight, huh?" Johnny asked at his peers as Beth and Manny both left him by the door, too intrigued to see what lies beyond.
"What the-"
Beth noticed a bluish light coming from around the corner. "Guys," she called out, " something's glowing over here." "What if it is an alien?" Johnny asked, clearly spooked by the way he is having a mini panic attack after thinking about it. "Do you still believe about all those alien crap that they all claimed?" Manny annoyingly asks as Beth tries to ignore the arguing duo at the back, trying to figure out what is around the corner, but failed to do so due to the commotion they had.
"Yeah. I mean, there is a possibility!"
"What are you? A kid?"
"Well technically 'NO!', but 'what-ifs', okay?"
"Well those 'what- ifs' of yours aren't helpful okay?"
"You both shut-up before I smack your face in the walls. I might even imagine what it would look like after it happens." Beth scolded both males before she turns around and took a deep breath to calm herself down. She proceeded to go make a turn as both males follow Beth, seemingly aware that women are dangerous if angered. As the trio turned a corner, they were astounded by what they found. "What is that?" Manny asked as he cautiously approached a glowing tank that seems to be frozen due to the frost covering the glass. The trio jaw-dropped.
But that isn't what made the trio jaw-dropped. What shocked them the most was what was inside of the cold tank. Inside of the bluish and cold tank was the body of a girl. By the looks of it, the girl is a few years younger, in physical aspects. Definitely have the looks of a European.
"Man, what if aliens are true and they appeared before we are even born?" the dirty blonde male questioned while his black-haired male companion irked at him and was about to one-up the blonde before he calmed down and tried to hit the truth at the other male. "Aliens. ARE. NOT. REAL. Okay?" Manny exclaimed as he glared at his friend., clearly annoyed with the fact that Johnny believed in aliens. "If they're real, then that doesn't explain the files that were here," Beth commented while going around the room, picking up random papers from the desks.
While the two males have a debate on why aliens do or do not exist, Beth noticed a lever at the corner of the room. Thinking nothing of it, she went up to it and inspected it. She then noticed control buttons and levers of all sorts. The control room? She thought before calling out the two boys.
"Oooh... Buttons!" Johnny exclaimed before pressing them randomly, Manny and Beth struggling to tell him to stop. The dirty blonde male noticed an odd lever and yanked it, clearly oblivious to what the results might be.
White, cold misty smoke appeared from the tanks before the glass tank was heard. The familiar hum of engines was echoed throughout the entire lab before stepping back from the action. Beth's brown eyes widened as she gaped at the tank, similarly to her two male companions.
As silence reigns the darkened room, they heard a sound. One that made them panic internally.
All three friends heard a glass crack.
