When they all leaped away, everyone let out a sigh at almost the exact same time. Sophie took the collar and smashed it, jumping back to avoid the melder blasts stored in it. Fitz caught her for the second time to avoid falling on her back.
"That was great! I didn't know you were such great actors!" Sophie said.
"You too! You should take the lusters back though." Fitz handed her the bag and she smiled gratefully and took it.
"Thanks." She put it in her cape pocket. Biana dragged Alden, Della and Keefe inside to give them some alone time, and Fitz held his hand out. She took it and Fitz said,
"Follow me." She walked with him and they sat down after a five minute walk on the edge of the lake.
"How did they get you on their side?" He asked.
"You were there."
"What? No I... Wait. That was.."
"Me. The man who leaped away was Alvar."
"I wish I could've helped."
"You couldn't have known it was me."
"Still wish I could. Just like I want to stay here forever."
"You live near it, you could literally spend all of everyday here."
"I guess it's different when you're with me." Not too far off, Biana's heart melted. She had vanished to follow them, and it was honestly adorable. She watched Sophie lean against Fitz as she leaned against a tree, hoping things would stay like this forever.
So I'm really sorry for the short chapter, but it was the second one in today! Also, I'm planning an end to this story, but fret not! I also plan to start two more, with a little Sophitz in both. I can't spoil the idea for the first one, because it's the sequel to this one, but the other one is called "The Power Twins" And I'm willing to take names for one of the main characters!
