The curse of the pirate hat

Halloween Morning

I know I'm not done with "secret pup powers", but because it's October, I thought it will be good to post a Halloween story, and NO I am not abandoning the "secret pup powers" story, I'm just going to have to take a brake from it so I can finish this.

It was Halloween morning in adventure bay and the pups are getting ready by decorating the lookout for Halloween and Everest and Tracker are joining them. All the pups are so excited, they already have their costumes on. Rubble is a rockstar, Rocky is a train conductor, Skye is a scarecrows, Zuma is a sailor, Everest is a snowqueen and Tracker is a werewolf. Rocky was pushing a pumpkin he carved next to the elevator, but that's when things started to get scary.

Rocky: (pushes a pumpkin near the side of the elevator) There. Now this place is looking spooky.

?: (rustling)

Rocky: Hello? Is someone there?

?: (Jumps on Rocky)

Rocky: Ahhhhh!!! Who are you!?!

?: I am the werewolf of the jungle, and I want you to know how it feels to be me.

Rocky: (struggles to get free) No! Please don't! I was already a werepuppy in my dream! It may not be the same thing, but still! Please don't!

?: Ahh Ahh! Rocky,(takes of a mask that was part of his costume) it's me Tracker.

Rocky: I know, I was just going witch it. Get it, witch it, because it's Halloween!

Tracker: (laughs) si, I get it. (AKA: si means yes in Spanish)

Tracker got off of Rocky and helped him up. After that, the other pups spoke.

Rubble: Now that you two are done, can you help us put this banner up! It will be easy.

Everest: Easy for you to say, your not on the bottom of the pyramid!

The pups had to put up a skeleton designed banner so the pups had to form their puppy pyramid. The biggest pups, like Marshall, Everest and Chase are the base to the pyramid so it can hold better. Medium size pups, like Zuma and Skye are in the middle of the pyramid. Smaller pups like Rubble go at the top of the pyramid.

Rubble: And, I'm done.

Marshall: Good, now can you guys please get off of us. I don't think I can hold this much longer.

With that said, Rubble, Zuma and Skye got off of them. As the pups finished and admired their work, someone came down the elevator, it was Ryder. He was in a skeleton costume, he came down to make sure the pups were ready to go trick or treating tonight.

Ryder: WOW! This place is looking really spooky pups

Zuma: Thanks Ryder! (Looks at Chase and Marshall) hey dudes, where are your costumes?

Marshall: Me and Chase don't know what to be this year?

There was a silence. No one expected that Marshall and Chase will have no idea what to dress up as

Chase: Maybe we need to get inspired. Ryder sir, is it O.K if me and Marshall go for a walk on the beach?

Ryder: Sure, just be back before dark.

Chase and Marshall promised and went to the beach.

Chase and Marshall got to the beach and started to talk about what to wear.

Marshall: We need to think of something to dress up as, but what?

Chase: What if you wear my police gear, and I wear your firefighter gear?

Marshall: good idea, but I was thinking we should go bigger.

Suddenly, two pirates hats got washed up on shore in front of Chase and Marshall.

Chase: What the?

Marshall: Nibble on my kibble, where did these come from?

Chase: (looks out to sea) I don't see anything that these hats could of come from.

Marshall: Hey! Look! This hat has a red strip, my favorite color!

Chase: And this hat has a blue strip, my favorite color! You know what Marshall? We should be pirates this year!

Marshall: Good idea! We have some cloth and sewing things at the lookout, so we can make pirate costumes too!

Chase: Well let's get going, we don't have a lot of time.

Chase and Marshall ran back to the lookout with the pirate hats in their mouths to get ready for Halloween!
