Betrayer

Chapter 5 ( Jane's pov )

That night I went upstairs to Kate's room to call her. Her door was slammed shut. While I was on the stairs, I called her loudly,"Kate , come on, get up now. " I called her loudly five times, but she was not at all answering. I thought that she must be having a sound sleep, so I went and banged the door loudly. But still there was no answer. Lastly I broke open the door with you help of a big stout rod and went inside. There I found that she was lying on the floor. I shook her and next pulled her up by the arms for a number of times but she was not at all answering. She neither opened her eyes nor did she response. I was horrified to this. I ran and brought some water and sprinkled it on her face but it was of no use. After , on her own , as soon as she regained her consciousness, she started reacting horribly as if somebody has pierced her throat. I helped her to sit on the sofa and asked her about it.
"That night, first of all , I couldn't remove my attention from the sight of the dead body of Blair, so I found it difficult to sleep. I got down from the bed and went to the table to have a glass of water and then I went to the balcony of the back door to change my mood and then.... and then.....", before completing she started weeping bitterly .
I asked her, "Now what happened next, please continue!".
Then she said ,"I was at that time looking at the bushes when suddenly I  heard a loud scream of a lady. I bent down to see and found that Blair's sister Sophy was dragged by the leg towards the garden by a man who was wearing a black suit and was having a mask on his face. Sophy's head was covered by a polythene bag which was bound tightly to the neck and she was bound by a dope to the chair with a rope. I don't know what took me up to go downstairs, that I went to the ground balcony and his behind the wall.  I just watched that it just took a few seconds for the man to chop off Sophy's head and burn her body bound by the chair... I was so horrified at this that I couldn't believe what had just happened and hurriedly went upstairs straight to my room and closed all the windows. I just couldn't forget the thing as it kept hallucinating in my mind and out of fear I found everything becoming hazy infront of my eyes and I fell on to the floor......"
            Just after she completed, I saw from the kitchen window that a police van appeared in front of Blair's house and two policemen carried Sophy's head which was wrapped in a plastic. I was also horrified to see the chopped head. Then I started wondering that there must be something wrong or else why would I hear about continuous murders of young ladies  which usually happens during the midnight, since the last three days!
Nobody could ever know the person or about the gang behind all these murders..
