Dame Nature

There's this one point in life ,
Where we get tired of the city justle,
We wish to go somewhere we find solace ,
A gift generously lent by mother nature .
Chained by our past but held on to our future,
We stare at nature's unexcelled architecture.

For those who have a hold of the future , quick question ,
Are you sure you do ?
Those small bits of our neglected memories,
We cherish when we feel low,
Those days of playing in the rain, trecking, cherishing the rhythmic chirping of birds,
That serenates our battling thoughts and troubled feelings ,
Are struggling to thrive .
Rare species being extinct,
Forests burning into ashes ,
Animals running for shelter but they have none.
Are you sure you have a hold of what's ahead of you?
Where will you go when these buildings, traffic, offices, industries drives you insane ,
Definitely not mother nature cause she will no longer be the same ,
Her arms would be cut down unable to hold you tight,
And then it'll be too late to realize ,
Those neglected memories echoing through our mind ,
And she will say ,
"Why didn't you fight ...for me ?
Where will you go now when there is nothing more to find ?
All what's to be found have left you dead inside ."
