Eyes fluttering open, a groan leaving his plump lips as his dark eyelashes tangled together, darting around the room. A sigh of relief left the teen as he pushed himself up, ignoring the shooting pain flooding through his veins, his eyes casted down on the head of green beside him. He thought nothing of it, and quietly edged his way to the end of the bed, his feet making contact with the carpet. He sighed, looking up to the clock, early hours of the morning. School should be starting back up again after the one day weekend in 3 hours. His fingers curled around a piece of paper on the bedside table, Inko's neat hand writing scrawled across it. It just seemed to inform him and Izuku that she wouldn't be home until late, working  a double shift and that Shoūto was welcome to stay with them for as long as he wished, as she had seen the news.

"Mhm.. Todoroki~Kun?" Izuku groaned, sitting up and looking at the slightly taller teen in front of him, earning a flinch from the teen obviously not aware of his surroundings. "Ah, sorry Midoriya, I'm still half asleep. I read your mother's note," He handed the greenette the sheet of paper, watching as he skimmed over it, before placing it back down. "I'm going to take a quick shower, if you don't mind." Midoriya just nodded, smiling softly. "Go ahead, I'll help you rebandage your wounds after."

Todoroki just nodded, grabbing his school uniform and a glasses box before walking out of the room and into the bathroom. He made sure to lock the door behind himself, before undressing, his lips pursed as he looked around the small room before placing his clothes down on the closed toilet lid, throwing his worn clothes into the washing basket. He unwrapped the soiled bandages throwing them into the bin, and that's when he switched the shower head on, turning it to the hottest temperature, before letting the boiling water douse him burning his flesh earning a quiet gasp from the teen as his back straitened. In a way, you could say he enjoyed the feeling, but he made sure not to 'excite' himself too much, and took a quick shower before stepping out and wrapping a towel around his waist.

His mind worked on autopilot as he dried himself off, changing into a pair of boxers and his school shirt, knowing Midoriya would want to make sure he bandaged his wounds properly. A soft knock at the door caused him to look up as he walked over to it, unlocking it without hesitation. "Ah, sorry! I um.. do you want me to um-" Todoroki responded with a small nod, sitting on the toilet lid, putting his glasses on as Midoriya walked in. The greenette proceeded to treat his wounds with the correct ointments before bandaging them, the two teens then got ready for the chaotic day ahead of them.

💢👁👄👁💢

The moment they walked through the school gates, crowds of newspaper reporters and civilians rushed over to Shoūto, who awkwardly stood behind Midoriya. Questions were asked left right and centre, until someone pulled the two boys into the school, the door being locked behind them. The mutant principal took a deep breath, before straightening out his tie, looking the two boys up and down. "You two, my office, I need your word and explanation of what happened." The two teens nodded, immediately following Nezu, not a word spoken as loitering students whispered about the house fire which Shoūto was technically 'responsible' for.

Nezu stood behind his desk, his eyes averting between the two boys before he sighed, breaking the silence. "Shoūto, you are aware of what happened to your household, correct?" Todoroki half-nodded he didn't want to make himself suspicious. "I saw it on the news sir, I was at Midoriya's house last night." Nezu hummed, the small clink of the metal spoon in hand stirring his cup of tea. "Is this true, Izuku? I need both of your says in this, as the police are searching for a suspect of a well.., suspected homicide of your dear sister, which I humbly apologise for." He handed Todoroki a cup of tea, the teen wrapping his fingers around the delicate cup as Nezu started to make himself one, knowing full well Midoriya didn't drink caffeine due to his mother not allowing it. Midoriya answered with a small answer, as the principal nodded in response.

"I see.. thank you sir, but I must inform you, your apology isn't needed, for it wasn't under your control. In all honesty, I would say I'm the reason for her murder, and I know exactly who did it. But you have to hear me out on what i say and please, under all circumstances, please be careful over your word choice on this matter." Nezu took a seat, raising his cup to his lips before gently placing it down on a coaster he had ready for it. "As you wish, but please, do go on." He took a seat, watching the two teens sit across from him.

"We can all agree Endeavour isn't a kind man, but I have to say, and I've been hiding this for too long. Midoriya and his mother found out yesterday, as I ran over to  their house after a fight with my so called 'father' as people say. But he isn't my father, that man is a monster," His spare hand clasping into a fist, slamming down against the chair's arm rest. "He hurt me all of my childhood, pushing me until I couldn't stand, he forced me to train since the day I found out about my so called 'blessing' of a quirk!" His voice snarled, his eyes angry as Midoriya gently rubbed a hand over this knuckles in attempt to calm him slightly. "Yesterday evening, that monster took my so called training to a new level, he beat me until I blacked out, i have the injuries to prove it all."

Nezu stood from his seat, his hands clasped together as tears left Shoūto's eyes, running down his milky pale cheeks. "May I see, so I can take some pictures for proof to give to the police? I must say, sadly we can't do anything if we don't have proof, Endeavour is the No.2 pro hero." Todoroki nodded, standing with Midoriya as he three walked to the infirmary.

~~~~~~
Burns, bruises, cuts and scrapes littered his body, the unfortunate wounds on his arms were found to  be self inflicted beneath some of his own battle wounds from fighting Endeavour and attempting to get away from him in the past. Nezu did as he said he was going to do, he took pictures, every single last one, apologising after the fact he had to force the younger Male to show his self inflicted wounds, but promised that he and his colleagues would always be there to treat him well and talk to him whenever it was needed. But no matter what, guilt didn't stirr within Shoūto, not at all. Tears did sprout from his heterochromatic eyes however, seemed to be uncontrollable as he ended up  being brought into a comforting hug, once he was fully dressed, by Izuku.
Shoūto was sent to the dorms soon after, the greenette not leaving  his side the whole time, he didn't exactly trust the younger boy at this point in time, to  be alone. So they stayed together, Shoūto soon fell asleep, his head on the lap of his best friend as Izuku gently ran a hand through his hair, lulling himself to sleep in the process.
