Demetry had just finished reading a section of the Daily Prophet news paper when Ron and Harry started to stir in their sleep. Harry was the first to wake and reached for his glasses. Ron seemed to be reaching to check his clock when he reached too far and fell out of bed.

Now completely awake from the pain Ron jumped up to look at his clock while Harry had just put on his glasses and had also seen the time. The two boys whipped their heads to look at each other before screaming.

"We're late!"

They zipped around the room to get changed in their robes while Demetry simply licked his finger and turned to another section in his newspaper.

"Demetry! Hurry up or we'll be late." Harry chastised as he struggled with his shoes.

"We're already late." Demetry said matter of factly as he continued to stare at his paper.

Ron threw one of his pillows at Demetry who simply moved his head out of the way, unbothered by Ron's lacklustre attack, and kept reading.

"We lose house points for being late. My brothers will chew me out because of you." Ron said as he searched for his books.

"But our first class is taught by Professor McGonagall, and she's the head of our house. I don't think it'll be that bad." Demetry said matter of factly.

"Demetry!" The two boys shouted, showing how serious they were.

"Alright fine."

Demetry got up to reveal that he was already dressed and ready to go. Ron and Harry looked astounded at the fact that Demetry was already dressed for class. Ron seemed more mad than Harry was seeing as Harry knew that Demetry had not slept the passed year and that more than likely included last night as well.

"Well stop staring. I thought you guys were worried about being late." Demetry said calmly as he walked out of the room.

Harry opened the door to Professor McGonagall's class as quietly as he could. Ron was right behind him and ran in stumbling in a hurry. Demetry seemed to walk into class without a care in the world. His eyes closed and hands in his pockets. The class was quietly doing their work when Hermione looked back at the trio in annoyance. Harry and Ron ran down to the center of the class to find their seats while Demetry seemed to be taking a stroll in the park with no real rush to do anything. Ron sighed in relief as Professor McGonagall seemed to not be in class. Instead a cat sat peacefully on her desk.

"We made it. Can you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if we were late."

Demetry tapped his friend on the shoulder.

"What," Ron asked as he looked back at Demetry.

"Professor McGonagall is an animagus." He stated.

"What does that mean?" Ron asked.

Demetry simply pointed to the cat that was sitting on Professor McGonagall's desk and the three boys watched as the cat leaped off of the desk and transformed into their teacher in the air and landed gracefully on her feet. Ron and Harry stared at her in shock and awe as she approached the three boys while Demetry seemed unbothered by it. Almost as if he had seen it done a thousand times before.

"That was bloody brilliant." Ron said awestruck.

"Why thank you for that Mr. Weasley," their teacher replied.
"Perhaps it would be more useful if I were to transfigure Mr. Potter and yourself into a pocket watch? That way one of you might be on time."

"We got lost," Harry said truthfully as not only had they gotten out of bed late but it took them awhile to find the Professor's classroom.

"Then perhaps a map. I trust you don't need one to find your seats?"
