Ringo woke up to find himself alone in bed. From a distance he could hear the faint sound of somebody moaning, and it wasn't long before he shook his head out of his sleepy trance and followed the sound to the hotel bathroom. His face paled. It sounded like George was vomiting.
"George? Are you alright?" George attempted to pull himself together, forcing himself to swallow down anything else so he could answer back.
"I'm bloody sick." Ringo was about to open the door when he heard George throw up some more. His hand retreated from the doorknob, Ringo knowing not to bother George in an embarrassing situation. Instead he anxiously paced outside the door, until finally the toilet flushed and a flustered George walked out. Ringo jumped onto him with a hug and a peck to his cheek, before pulling back and inspecting the thin, lanky man.
"Did you throw up? Was it the food from supper?" Ringo asked rapid fired as he helped George to sit on the bed.
"I'm fine you koala, stop pestering me." George's voice shook slightly from the coldness he was beginning to feel, having just lost his last meal. "Yeah, just the food."
"I'm only worried about your health," Ringo crooned.
"I know," George sighed, "But I'm fine, see?" He raised his hands upwards, but their shakiness proved otherwise.
"Just get in bed you dope, I'll tuck you in and tomorrow we'll check to see if you feel any better." Ringo helped George back under his covers and snuggled up to him, offering his body's warmth. George made a purring noise and grabbed Ringo's hand, rubbing his palm in thanks. He quickly drifted off, leaving Ringo to watch him carefully throughout the night, deciding that George's health was more important than a good night's sleep.
