Chapter 39

I see that look in your eyes, it makes me go blind

Winters P.O.V.

It's been three days and we can finally leave the hospital. Joshua hasn't left our side with in these days besides to go handle pack business but even then he would call or link to see how we were doing and every chance he gets, he does skin to skin contact with the girls and they absolutely love it. Some nights when I put them in their bassinets, I wake up and see both of them in his arms asleep.

Dj and Ej have bonded with the girls as well. Ej prefers to be around Devyn and Dj loves to be around Skyler. Jordan and Jack are always around to make sure that the girls have everything they need and my dad and Ale are constantly calling to make sure that we are ok.

Rox and Sybil keeps buying them clothes and saying how they can't wait to play dress up with them. Joshua is already planing to threaten any boy that wants to talk to them and he's already said how he's going to give their mate a hard time.

Roland and Embry are constantly fighting over who gets to hold who. Devyn loves to be in Killian and Damien's arms and Skyler has fallen head over hills for Tristan and Chris.

Now all that's left is to present them to the pack which will be later on today. Which means everyone will now know who their future Alpha and Beta is.

Turning my head towards the door, Joshua comes in with two car seats in his hands, "Are all my girls ready to go home?" He asks giving me a kiss. "Yes, you know I hate it here and I'm sure the girls don't like it either" I say as he helps me stand up. "Good, cause my back is starting to hurt from sleeping on that damn couch" he says popping his back.

We each carefully picked up the girls and placed them in their car seats. Devyn just stared at me while Skyler started to throw a fit. Joshua quickly picked her up and she instantly stopped crying. "No, you are not about to spoil them. Let her cry herself to sleep. We'll be home soon" I say taking her away from him and placing her back in her car seat.

"Don't be doing my baby like that" he says pushing me out the way so he could see her. "Let's go Rodrigo. Devyn is already asleep and Skyler on her way. They had me up all night and I need a little nap before the party tonight" I say patting his butt and picking up their baby bags. "Don't be touchin on my ass" he says hitting me on mine then picking their car seats up and walking out of the room.

Once we got home, both girls were asleep and I was tired.

We got into our room and Joshua went to put the girls in their cribs and I went straight to the bed and laid down.

Joshua came back with the baby monitor and as soon as he laid down we heard the girls cry. I was about to get up but he lightly pushed me back down and went into their room.

30 seconds later he comes back shaking his head, "I forgot to put the gate down between them. As soon as I did they stopped crying so I moved them closer together" he says getting into the bed and pulling me on top of him.

"Sleep Flower. I'll wake you and hour before the party starts" he says kissing my forehead.

"Tell mommy to wake up Devyn" I hear Joshua whisper as I feel him kiss my cheek. Opening my eyes I see him holding Devyn with her bottle in her mouth. Looking around I see Skyler laying beside me playing with her feet.
