On a day like any other sunny with some clouds in the sky Steffan Cline, me, an engineering scientist was on the verge of completing my best invention yet. Until I was interrupted. One of my colleges, Derrik Wilson, burst in the door like the koolaid man spouting utter nonsense, something involving building, fire, and attack.
I turned to face him wrench still in hand when I start to feel the building shake. My first thought was earthquake, boy was I wrong about that one. I start hearing explosions, and at this point the building is shaking so much it could've been a rocket about to shoot off into orbit.
I am squatting down now both hands on my head, oh by the way the wrench is still in my hand. Anyways, I look in front of me to see Derrik curled up into a ball on the floor literally hyperventilating. I'm to the point that I realize that this is not an earthquake, the building is about to fall like a bunch of unsteady building blocks, and we are pretty much on the middle floor, so we are about to be squashed like a cricket on a school sidewalk underneath the foot of some random kid worried about what they are having for dinner.
