Chapter 6 : Our First Share

*BRYAN'S POV*

I woke up at exactly 6:45am on sunday morning and I'm already feeling blessed. I had a really nice chat with Lizzie las night and I realized that she wasn't actually the kind of person that I thought that she was and in the end she was a really nice girl.

At least shes not a snub

Yeah thank God for that

I wonder if she has a boyfriend

Shut up brain

I got out of head and went straight to the shower. I stayed in there for about 45minutes and then I was out. I slipped into a grey jogger pants and a white hoodie. Brushed my teeth and I was off to see Lucas at the 101 breakfast cafe.

On my way there I took out my phone and sent a text to lizzie, a little Sunday morning text to keep her going for the day. I opened the POPit app and type the message.

Bryan: All hail Queen Elizabeth, the creator of tofu brains 😂. Its a beautiful day, the sun is out and the birds are singing their songs. I hope their songs brings a smile on your face and I hope you're happy. Never forget that you're much more than you could ever imagine so dont ever lose that smile. So let go of all that pain and just be happy.

Then I hit send.

I got to the cafe at about 8:30 and lucas was already there flirting with one of the waitresses at 101 and I wasn't surprised. He was busy flashing his half smile and from where I was, I could see the flush all over the girls face. Whatever he was saying to her she was surely falling for it

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything" I said after clearing my throat

"Oh not at all" Lucas said back trying to hide his anger

"Hi, welcome to 101 breakfast cafe. I'm julie I'll be your waitress today." She said turning to face me

"Lucas have you ordered anything?" I asked him looking over the menu

"Well I'll have a cup of coffee with milk and a scone" he said looking over to julie

"And I'll have my usual" I said to her and she just kept staring at me. "Oh I'm sorry you're new here I'm guessing" I added

"Yeah, today's my first shift" she responded with half a smile

"Okay then I'll have a cup of Caramel Macchiato and a prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella with a hint of homemade pesto aioli." I said to her putting the menu down

"Okay your orders would be ready in a short while" She said turning on her heels and walking to the counter

"Dude you seriously have the worst timing you know that right" Lucas said to me after julie was no longer in his line of sight

"You're always flirting with different girls" I said shaking my head. Right from when Lucas and I first met he's always be a huge flirt. If he isnt flirting with a girl at the beach then he's surely flirting with one by the pool.

Before he could say something else julie walked back with our orders and we ate. After 30mins we were done with our food and we talked about our game on Saturday and also preparations for our finals by next year. We paid and walked out of the cafe.

Since I had nothing else to do for the day I went back to my dorm and laid down on my bed. I got my earphones and scrolled through my playlist. I closed my eyes and let the music take over me I dunno when I slept off but I woke up at about 11:30pm, a text from lizzie and also a low battery.

*LIZZIES POV*

I woke up to a text from Brian and it made me smile alot for some weird reason. Queen Elizabeth or rather queen lizzie is what my dad used to call me and seeing someone else refer to me in that form really made me feel good about myself.
