chapter 9

Sana's POV

Its been three days after the break up. Not like I'm counting.

After our break up, it got me thinking. What now? Do I go back to tracking her? Seeing her. Damn. I am that desperately in love.

I mean we were fully aware of what are jobs are but neither of us talked about it. I didnt ask her anything, she didnt ask me anything too. We just went on dates and just enjoy our moments together.

Anyway, after three nights of crying to myself, I've decided that from now on I'll be more professional, more focused. I need that promotion so that I can prove to anyone that I can be trusted.

Sure, dahyun has a little space in my heart and the moments we had are special but for now that should be sealed in tight so that I could focus more.

I'm the best agent they have and I'm gonna prove it.

"Did Jisoo crack the microchip?" I asked chae.

"Not yet but she said that she's close" she replied.

"shes been saying that for the last three days" momo whined while taking a strawberry in chaeng's bag of strawberries that mina gave her. Receiving a glare from chae.

Me, momo, mina and chae are just sitting together eating our snacks in the cafeteria

"Dont say that momoring shes doing her best" mina said while eating her salad.

"And dont you have anything to do? ms. secretary" Chae teased

"Hey let me rest for a while theres so many paperwork and informations to take in on my job you know" Momo answered.

"Hey it was your decision to be a secretary" I chuckled.

"Yeah and now I'm starting to regret it" Momo sighed.

Our conversation was cut short by Momo's phone ringing.

After seeing the callers ID momo seemed become more serious.

"You okay?" I asked her.

"uh yeah, I'm just gonna answer this for a sec" momo nodded then went out of the cafeteria.

"Its just a guy who is courting her, she said" chae continoued munching on her strawberries.

"Guy?" I questioned.

"Yep, hes been always calling her and even in the middle of the night" Chae raised her eyebrow playfully making mina slap her.

"Ouch, But thats what momo told me" chae whined at mina.

I just rolled my eyes at the two

"Is it weird that dah- Agent 07 and her team didnt went to get the microchip back yet?"

"Yeah it is, but as charlie said we have to get ourselves ready no matter what" chae said

Chae glanced at her watch.

"And our breaks done, we have to go back to the meeting room in about 5" Chae stretched her arms.

"Lets go"

"So I ordered other agents from department T-17 to go to their base and as we expected they were gone, so as their equipment and things."

"But the team found something sitting around there" charlie said.

"Can you sir specify the object?" jihyo asked.

Charlie nodded and pulled out an USB witch has a 'watch me' wrote on it.

Momo then connected it to the large screen in the meeting room and played the video.

I flinched at the oh so familiar voice.

"Hi everyone! Missed me?" dahyun smiled.

I can feel everyone in the room felt tensed.

"Hello to you Charlie! Anyway, I'm just here to say that we dont want any trouble for you all. We dont mean no harm. We just want that microchip, see no harm"

"I know, I know we stole the jewel or whatever but that microchip contains a lot of information that should be better hidden. Can you relate Charlie on the hiding something part? I bet you do" dahyun smirked.

I see charlies hand forming into a fist.

"And uh, what was I going to say? Oh yeah, we're going to take that microchip no matter what"

"Another thing....This video is just a distraction for you fuckers" she laughed.

"Distraction?" Charlie questioned.

All of us are just confused as Charlie.

Then dahyun started to countdown from three.

"3...2...1" the video ended and we suddenly heard a bang from somewhere in the building.

An agent rushed into the meeting room.

"Sir, Agent 07 and her team is here"

Suddenly I can feel goosebumps.

"Get all the personnels outside of the building immediately. Prepare all the agents for combat, go get your equipment and dont hurt them if necessary I repeat dont hurt them if they dont come as dangerous to you. And be sure to put agent 07 to sleep, we need her" All of us nodded and went out the room to get our equipment.

After rushing to get our equipment, the building became suddenly quiet. No noise and no explosion.

We huddled up as a team.

"So floor 9, 11 and 15 has reportedly had an explosion that means they came from the windows. Now Me and Tzuyu would inspect floor 9, Michaeng on 11 and Momo and Sana on floor 15. Rose, you'll help with the other agents helping the personels and trainees to safety and you Jisoo will make sure the microchip is safe, if you need back up just call Momo or Sana theyre in the floor above you. Lets go!" Jihyo ordered, we nodded and went to the task we were assigned at.

Jihyo and tzuyu arrived at their assigned floor only to be met by silence.

As they scanned the floor, carefully into the now messy offices and rooms that are on the floor.

Scattering paperworks are everywhere. But there was something that caught their eyes.

In one of the whiteboards in the office, there was a note in big bold red strokes that reads;

'THERE'S A MOLE IN YOUR TEAM p.s No one escapes' Jihyo took note of that.

"Agents, I heard that most of the agents and personnel are safe and already outside but an agent told me that some personnels were trapped inside the building. It seems that someone closed all the exits." Charlie's voice echoed through their in-ears.

Jihyo and tzuyu sent each others a panicked look.

"Already on it, Sir" Jihyo replied Charlie.

"Groundfloor. They must've closed all the exit routes" Jihyo said.

"But all the exit routes can just be controlled in the controlling panel" tzuyu stated.

"Rose,immediately go to the controlling panel we think that someone might've been playing with the wrong buttons and closed all the exits" Jihyo announced in her in-ear.

"Got it" Rose voice replied.

Jihyo turned to tzuyu

"Tzuyu, I need you to go help Rose, she might need back up"

"Okay" Tzuyu nodded "but where are you going?"

"I'm going to the ground floor to see if everythings going fine with the people there"
