The New House

Alec POV

Once I had finished packing my things I started to head over to the kitchen to wait for Clary, I was a little early so I took a seat at the table and set my bag aside me. A million things where running through my head about this whole situation, I mean surely there  where other things we could do instead of running away, we could always just move into a little house in town or Clary could live go back to her mums and-

"You look depressed sitting there all by yourself" Clary said while placing her bags onto the table

"Wow, how are you going to carry all that around town? Ever herd of a suit case" I said with a confused look

"You know we are taking a portal to the location? And who said that I was carrying my own bags? You seem pretty capable of handling the luggage" Clary said with a devilish grin on her face

I couldn't tell If she was being serious or not but just for safe measures i grabbed all of Clarys bags in one hand and pulled my suit case in the other hand, by the time I had finished juggling them all so I wouldn't drop them Clary already had the portal up and she was standing there laughing at me.

"What do you even have in these bags, they are so heavy" I said confused

"Clothing, weapons, paint supplies blah blah blah, Now are you done complaining yet? because i don't want anyone seeing us leaving" Clary asked

"Yes whatever, where are we even going?" I asked while walking over to clary handing her some bags to carry

"Well while you where packing I made some phone calls and managed to buy us a beach house in Florida, so I am fully broke right now, I suggest raiding the fridge and cupboards before we go because we won't have enough money for food for the next couple or weeks but at least we will have a beach house yayyy" Clary smiled with jazz hands

Alec linked arms with Clary "Well shall we leav-"

Just before he could finish, Jace barged through the door wide eyed when he seen them both standing there with a heap if bags and open portal and linked arms.

"What The Fuck"

Jace began, but before he could finish, Clary yanked Alec through the portal.

Clary landed perfectly but Alec face planted into the sand, Alec got back up as quick as I could but it was too late, Clary had already burst into laughter

"You could have gave me a little warning, plus I only fell cause your bags are heavy" I said while wiping the sand off of my clothes.

I looked up at the house, It was beautiful, it was a modern day two story white house with lots of glass, I walked to the front door and drop the bag's as I open the door a nice smell of salt water and sand came through the house there was a lounge room with a flat-screen tv, a modern-day kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom downstairs there was a spiral staircase leading upstairs where the three remaining bedrooms were and a bathroom with a balcony. As I walked outside there was a beautiful view of the beach, the outdoor area had an infinity pool a hot tub and a seating area. This place was so perfect, it must have cost a fortune.

Once Clary and Alec had finished un packing they thought it would be a good idea to go watch the sun set on the beach.

"So do you like the house? Cause I just spent a shit lode on it and If you dont like it I'll drown you" Clary said playfully

"No I love it, I'll pay rent cause I feel bad and i-"

Clary stopped dead in her tracks

"Alec" she breathed out "I brought this house so I could start a new life "she grabbed both my hands "so we could start a new life, I do not want you to pay rent, I don't want you paying for anything, maybe just pitch in of the food shopping but that's all, this is all for us, no drama, no demons and no cheating ex boyfriends, just me you and the beach"

She was so beautiful, the sun was setting but I couldn't stop staring at her, she was more beautiful... I think I'm catching feelings.

Sorry I haven't been posting at all life has been a little crazy but I'll try my best to keep posting new chapters every week or so, what should happen next in the story? (Sorry for bad spelling as well xox)
