I and Runey were out in the backyard preparing the barbeque for our family gathering. Runey decorated the back yard with fairy lights and I cleaned the wooden picnic table of the "Jean family". Mom and aunt Nellie , Runey's mother were baking chocolate pies and hot choco Mousie, grilled fish with lemon, Uncle John was making blue Lagoon and my dad as usual was ready with the tequila. Everyone was happy until something different had happened.
*The telephone in the living room was ringing*
"Lily....lily.....go and pick up the phone...."
"Wait...mom..."
I went upstairs to get the phone and then. . . . . .
