Friendship

This poem is dedicated to all my BFF's out there

But it goes specially out to 1 friend who knows everything there is to know about me.

I've known for 7 years, more than half of my life and she is honestly a really really great friend.......

Her little laughter rang through the hall.

To me it was a friendship call.

I toddled along with my little feet

and saw something very sweet

My burning eyes had cooled down

When I first heard the sound

But now they were filling up again

As my heart began to mend

She had bright, intelligent eyes

That shone with no lies

And when she smiled, oh when she smiled,

One could see her pearly teeth all lined,

Her little laughter rang once more

And our friendship embedded itself in the core

I grabbed her hand, she grabbed mine

The minute we heard the bell chime

From then on, it well it was sure

We were best friends forever

But of course with friendship problem arise

And with that comes severed ties

Of course we fought but we always made up

The storm would be high and low in the teacup

Then something happened, something bad

It made us all very sad.

My dad went bye-bye permanently

We had to migrate regretfully

Now we're more than an ocean away

"But it's okay", I always say.

Now I'm like the waves, as she asked me to be,

Crashing over every rock jutting out of the sea

But before, when I was as weak as a creeper

She pulled out of my mess and our friendship became deeper.
