"Hey! Wake up!!! Meeting in the lounge!!!" Medea banged on my door and then jogged off, banging on James' next.
I slowly opened my eyes, and frowned. "I'm going to murder that girl."
"Oh, don't be like that. She's excited about something; we should go see what." Luna chuckled, laying her head back down on my chest.
"I suppose..." I carefully undid the fluffy pink handcuffs she had worn all night, massaging her wrists and assuring myself of her comfort before sitting us up and grabbing my underclothes.
"Why do you sleep naked, by the way? Is there a reason? Or is it just comfier that way?" She asked, pulling her own shirt back on.
"Hmm... I've always slept that way... when it's always -10 degrees outside, you sleep under a layer of furs, with all your clothes near you, but you hope for all the furs to make you warm enough to sweat; that keeps you healthy and warm all at once. But if you wear your clothes and sweat in them... they get very, very gross after just one or two nights. After that, it was just uncomfortable to sleep with anything on." I shrugged.
She nodded, shimmying her leather pants on under the covers, and then her leather jacket, the outfit which laid under her armor. It was studded with metal, and had a sort of layered protection underneath she called 'scale-mail', but it was too restricting for me. "I understand, I guess, that's basically why I don't wear my plate-armor unless I leave my house... it gets very hot in there, and I hate having to bathe in an ice-cold river every day so that I don't feel gross."
I stood and stretched, grabbing the bar that hung in the middle of the room and lifting myself up to begin my morning workout. She watched with a smile and a bit of lewd fascination in my body as it was put on display so very well, and I didn't really mind. Once I was limbered up properly, I pulled on some pants and a shirt, grabbed my knife and belted it on, and was ready for the day. Unless said day included going outside. I sighed and relented, pulling on my socks and boots, then looked at Luna as she sent her armor off someplace with a muttered spell.
"That would be an awesome thing to learn." I chuckled, and grabbed my sketch book, opening the door.
"It's a relatively simple spell, actually, it's the same spell as the Bottomless Bag, but it's much more limited in space. Still, it allows you to store things for later use, like weapons and armor, and it can't be stolen. I could teach you, if you wanted." She smiled and stepped out first, allowing me to close and lock the door behind us.
"I think I'll take you up on that... later, though, I think this thing with Medea will take a bit." I stepped into the lounge, sitting next to a disgruntled-looking Rhea with a fussing and sleepy-looking Nick on her lap.
Luna sat beside me, and smiled at Rhea, holding her hands out. "I can hold him for a bit, if you want?"
He instantly reacted, reaching for her hair excitedly. "Mun!!!" He demanded, looking back at Rhea.
She chuckled tiredly and placed the baby into Luna's hands, then leaned against my shoulder and sighed. "If this is something about the water not being hot enough again, Medea, I will literally stab you." She grumbled.
Medea grinned. "No, it's awesome, I swear! Where's James? And Clark?" She looked down the hall at their rooms, and frowned.
"Can we just start whatever this is? Clark and James are most likely up in the caboose getting frisky without me, -thanks for that,- and it's none of anyone's business, so let's just move forward." Helen sighed.
