Chapter 6...Mate?

I stand there dumbfounded for a few minutes before turning around and leaving. I don't know how long I ran all I know was that I had to get away, I couldn't deal with the pain of rejection again. I stopped running when I came to a clearing. it was beautiful, there was a waterfall and flowers everywhere. I sat down for a while until I heard a voice in my head say"Alpha we need you to come back the wolf won't stop crying and saying his mate rejected him. we don't know what to do." once I hear that my heart feels like it was ripped out of my chest. he thinks I rejected him. "well wouldn't you if your mate ran away from you." my wolf says. I know she is right. I decide to go back to the dungeons and see him.

when I get there I hear my mate whimpering and crying. it breaks my heart all over again. I rush down the stairs to see him curled up in a ball sobbing. I open the door and gently touch his shoulder he flinches and lifts his head. when he sees me he says "its ok you don't have to be here I already know you reject me." he says between sobs. a single tear leaves my eye seeing my mate like this. I quickly swipe it away and say "I don't want to reject you it just came as a shock because I had a mate but he already rejected me and slept with another girl the same day. I ran because I didn't want to go through that pain again." while I'm speaking he starts to growl lightly. I put my hand on his shoulder and he instantly calms down. I sigh and tell one of the guards to let him go he says "but alpha he is a rough and was trespassing we can't simply let him go." this makes me snap I grab him by the neck and push him against the way and say "he is not a rough he is my mate as your alpha I demand you to let him go." he whimpers but bows his head. I let him go and he scampers to Dennis to free him of the chains. he sighs and starts to rub his wrist when I see them I growl. dennis comes over and tries to calm me down by saying "hey hey I'm ok there is no need to worry I'm fine ok see I'm fine." he says while showing me his wrists I relax when I see that the redness has gone down quite a bit. I nod then lead him out of the dungeons.

when we get to the pack house me and Dennis have learned a lot about each other like his favorite color is red he likes horses and he has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. when we enter Dustin runs over to me and says "oh my god rose where have you been I was worried sick about you." he hugs me and Dennis growls Dustin leps from me and starts to growl too. all the growling made me mad so I yelled "you two stop growling at each other right now. Dustin, you are not my mate anymore Dennis is, you rejected me I don't need you anymore so if you don't mind shutting your trap that would be greatly appreciated!" he whimpers and bows his head. I stand there shocked. he just bowed his head to me, ME Rosaline the used to be nobody. after a little, I shake my head and grab Dennis's arm and go upstairs.

when we get to my room I flop face first onto my bed. I hear Dennis chuckle and feel the bed dent down beside me. after a few minutes of silence, he says "you know I think that was pretty hot what you did down there." I lift my head and glare at him he chuckles and puts his hands and says "kidding not that kind of guy." I shake my head and get up to take a shower "where are you going?" Dennis asks worriedly i laugh and say "I'm going to take a shower you can go find my brother and see if you can borrow some of his clothes." he nods then leaves.

while I'm in the shower I can't help but think of what could happen with Dennis. will he like me? will I like him? will he leave or turn on me like everybody else? sighing I turn off the water. stepping out I wrap a fluffy white towel around me. I opened the door and screamed. I calm down then say "sorry you scared me. you can't do that." because standing in the doorway of the bathroom is Dennis smirking. I walk past him and to the closet. I can feel his lustful stare so I say "if you don't stop staring I will hurt you." he chuckles then says "I would like to see you try." I slip on my shirt and turn around. what he said made me mad so I'm going to challenge him i say "ok i challenge you to a duel I win you have to do whatever I want and if you win I will go on a date with you." he seems hesitant but nods "good i will meet you down there in 5 minutes." he nods then leaves.

after 5 minutes I teleport to the battlefields. when i get down there i see all of both packs down there. all but Dustin which really surprises me. i thought he would tie me up to keep me from going or some shit like that. I snap out of my thoughts by Dennis saying "rose are you sure you want to do this I really don't want to hurt you. I was kidding in the room." I nod my head and shift behind a tree. when he sees me Dennis faints. FAINTS I mean seriously he passed out on me. I do a wolfie chuckle and go shift back to my human form. when I come out from behind the tree girls are all around him feathering him with kisses to try and wake him up. I growl so loud it shakes the packed house and says "if you sluts don't step away from MY mate I will personally rip you hair extensions off of your head!" there heads snap up and they run in fear, all but one. Candy. I sigh and say "did you not hear me slut get away from my mate. NOW!" she whimpers and lowers her head but just as soon as she did it she puts it back up and says "this is not your mate Dustin is yours this hot hunk of meat is mine and you can't do anything about it you little bitch." that makes me snap I grab her by her neck and slam her against a tree and make a circle around us with fire so she can't escape. I say "now you will fight me and whoever wins will get Dennis if I win I get him if you win you get him and you both have to leave because you took a challenge from an alpha." she nods her head and I drop her I back away while she shifts. when she is done I chuckle and shift into my huge black wolf. when she sees me she lowers down a little but gets back up and growls. I stand there and do nothing. I hear Dennis screaming at me to stop but I'm not going to I don't back down from a fight anymore. she lunges at me and at a flick of my head she is on the ground whimpering in pain. I shift back fully clothed might I add and say "do you give up because I can do so much more than that." she nods and I take the spell away. I take away the fire circle and start to walk away but remember she challenged me. I turn back around and say "candy you are banned from my pack grounds and these you are now a rough you have 30 minutes to be off of the grounds if you aren't by then I WILL personally kill you." she nods and runs away. I walk over to Dennis and say "you know you were supposed to fight not faint but hey I got my fight anyway. oh, and you might want to shut your mouth don't want to get flies to do ya." he snaps his mouth shut and says "your an alpha why didn't you tell me that. this is awesome." I chuckle im about to say something befor im interupted "ROSE WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SHE WAS MEANT TO BE MY LUNA FOR THE PACK YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH!" I turn to look at a very mad Dustin i just simply shrug and say "I don't know." he growls and lunges for me I teleport behind him and shift. im about a foot taller than he is. he comes at me again and I grab hold of his neck in my mouth and bite down. I feel something sticky and realize its blood I release him and shift back "Dustin i don't care who you are or who you think you are but I will NOT be disrespected by you or any members of the packs." I say while wiping my mouth he nods and starts to walk to the forest in wolf form. im still furious so a storm starts dennis must realize whats going on and rushes to me and kisses me. after a little, it returns back to the normal sunny day. we pull away and I say "thank you if you didn't do that the packed house would most likely be destroyed." he chuckles and says "ya it most definitely would be. now come on we should probably get you to bed. I nod and we walk to the house for me to go to sleep.
