first meeting

♡Spinels pov♡

I'm trying my hardest to make everyone laugh but all i hear are damn crickets and maybe a few laughs here and there but as i look around i notice this place is abandoned. I sigh and take a drink of water, i see my boss gesturing to go to him i nod. "Well thats it thanks for coming folks see ya next time" i say as confidently as i can, but i know whats coming.

I set the microphone down on a small table on the stage and walk over to my boss. My boss sighs and speaks "Spinel, as you can clearly tell no one is showing up anymore...i think its best if you find somewhere else to work." "B-but boss you cant do this to me t-this place is the only thing i have." I start to tear up "look i know Spinel but we have to let you go sorry kid." My now ex boss just stands there as i run out the door holding back tears. 'I cant let them see me cry' i thought. As i bust out the door to the outside i inhale deeply and punch the wall of the dying comedy club.

I whence as i look at my now bleeding knuckles 'why me' i thought as i sit against the wall tearing up, i put my head in my hands wondering where i should go. I hear the door open but i dont look. "Excuse me? Are you alright?"
