Secrets *Two*

I knocked on my mom's door and stood there crying . I tried to wipe my tears before she opened the door but as soon as i saw her face tears came exploding down my cheeks .

"What's wrong sweetie?" Mrs. Carter asked . She grabbed me by my shoulders and helped me into the house . "August cheated on me ." Amani said still crying heavily . "What?" she said in shock . "I caught him with Jada." She said looking at her mom . "Aww sweety . I bet August wasn't thinking straight when he did that ." Mrs. Carter said .

"You know August loves you very much he would never do anything to hurt you . Especially something like that with your bestfriend ." she said . "Mom im gonna have to stay with you a little while . I think August and I need a little break." Amani said . "Ok honey."

3 MONTHS LATER

August POV***

Man it's been so long since Mani left . I really miss her . I regret what i did so much . If i could take it back i would . August's phone vibrated . It was Jada .

Jada: Hey babe 😘

August: Wat u want ?

Jada: I jus wanted to tlk to u . we havent talked since mani left .

August: Ik dat . im glad we hvnt talked . u kno ion even want u i juss call u for sex . i dnt have NO feelings for u at all . So leave me df alone !

August put his phone down and went to the kitchen to get a snack . He remembered how he always had to get stuff from the counter for Amani because she was too short to reach things .

He always picked on her because of her height . August made a sandwhich and took it up to his room . After his sandwhich he took a shower and layed in the bed and drifted off to sleep .
August woke up to hear knocking on the door . He opened it . "Can we talk?" Marie said .

Marie is another girl August had sex with while he was with Amani . "About what?" August asked inviting her in . "August i dont know how you gonna feel about this but . . ." she stopped for a second . "But what?" August asked . "Im pregnant ." she said dropping her head . "Wait a minute , you what ?" August said standing up . "Im pregnant ." She said again looking at August with a blank expression on her face .

"By who?" August asked . "By you , what you mean by who ?" she said with a attitude . "We only had sex twice Marie , and it was a couple weeks ago ." August said . "Nahh , you aint about to pin no baby on me ." August said pointing Marie towards the door .

"Whatever August , i bet this baby is yours im going to take a DNA test." Marie told him . "Can you leave now ?" August said calmly . Marie left and August stood there for a second trying to think about what just happened .

"Damn my stomach hurt." August said . He walked in the kitchen and looked for some medicine to take . He couldnt find anything . "Guess i gotta run to the store." He said . When he got to the store he searched and searched . Poor August was feeling worse the longer he stayed there .

He turned around the corner and accidently bumped into a woman . Without looking up they both pick up the items and apologized . Suddenly they both looked up . "Amani?" August said staring deeply in her eyes . "August?" Amani said back . Amani turned around and walked away . "Wait Mani slow down please." August said grabbing her arm .

"I missed you baby girl . And im so sorry for what i did to you . Please come back to me babe i been miserable without you i promise ." August said pleading Amani to come back to him . "I'll think about it , I gotta go." Amani said then walked away .

Amani POV***

I can't believe who i just saw . I love August and I miss him just as much as he misses me . He seemed like he really meant what he said . August wouldn't hurt me .

I know him better than that . It really hurt me when i saw him and my bestfriend having sex in our bed . I don't know if i can trust him again . Suddenly Amani got a call .

Amani: Hello ?

August: Mani

Amani: What August ?

August ? Can we meet up somewhere ?

Amani: Why ?

August: I just wanna talk to you and catch up on things .

Amani: Where we meeting ?

August: At The Greene's Cafe

Amani: Okay . Bye

August: Amani ?

Amani: What ?

August: I Love You

Amani: I Bet

Amani hung up and took a shower . After her shower she got dressed and got her car keys to her red Dodge Charger .

She hopped in the car and sped off . Soon she arrived at the cafe and saw August sitting at a table taking his order . Amani went to the table and took a seat . "Wassup baby girl." August said . "Nothing much . Living my ordinary life . So what we need to talk about ?" Amani said in an annoyed tone .

"Listen , I really want to start over and rebuild our relationship . I was thinking maybe you could move in with me ." August said kind of nervously . "August , im not gone lie i love you with all my heart , but i lost trust in you after i saw you with Jada ." Amani said .

"Baby please let me make it up to you Mani i love you girl . I dont even want Jada i only call her to have sex when you wouldnt give it up . I promise im not gonna make that mistake again baby just trust me." August said begging Amani to believe him . "Ok , i guess i'll give you a chance . But stick to your word August." Amani said . "So you'll move in with me?" August asked .

"Yes ." Amani said smiling . August got up and hugged Amani and kissed her . They both left and went their own seperate ways .
