Part 7.

Gray's p.o.v
I woke up like I did every day before school and checked my phone, it's 8:32. Great I'm late for school again.
On second thought, I don't feel like going to school today, but first I have to ask my dad, of course. I got out of bed and walked downstairs.
"dad!" I shouted out to him, "dad, are you here?"I called out one last time.
I turned around and looked at the fridge, there was a note. "gone to work, you can stay home if you want- dad"
Of course, I forgot he has work on Tuesday's.

I put the note down and sat on the couch, reached over to grab the remote and turned on the TV.
*DING*
It was my phone. I put my hand in my pocket and grabbed my phone, it was a message from Evelyn, great. It said,

"sorry for what happened yesterday, I hope you can forgive me."
I stood staring at my phone thinking of what to say.
I replied "I'm sorry too and yes, I forgive you."

I smiled as I heard a knock on the door. It can't be dad and I didn't invite anyone over, so who could it be?
I got up and walked over to the door. I stood still for a few seconds before I opened the door.
After a few seconds I finally opened the door and there stood....

NIKO?!
What is he doing here!
"what are you doing here!" I choked out.
"well, I said I'd see you soon." he answered, "I didn't think you meant this soon!"
"can I at least come in?" he asked "fine..."

I moved out of the way so he could walk in.
As soon as he did he went straight to the couch, typical.
I walked over to the couch where Niko was. "so why exactly are you here?" I asked Again.
"oh, I'm on the run... From my boss." he answered.
I stared at him for a second before I realized what he said. I put my hand over my mouth, trying not to laugh.
Niko looked at me with a blank expression.

My face lit up when I saw the look on his face,
He looks like a lost and confused puppy.
