"There, look. "

"Where?"

"Next to the short kid with the blue hair. "

'It's azure.'

"Wearing the glasses?"

"Did you see her face?"

"She looks just like Janie."

Whispers followed Harriet from the moment she and I had left our dormitory the next day. I could tell Harriet didn't like them so I pushed her forward while shooting glares at anyone who was looking at her funny and talking about her.

During our walk between classes besides the looks that Harriet got, I noticed that Hogwarts had all sorts of crazy enchantments attached to practically everything in the castle just to confuse the inhabitants, I had a very frustrating event on one of the staircases that wouldn't stop changing with my and Harriet on it that I ended up magically burning away all the useless enchantments that made it keep moving sporadically. Luckily no one was able to tell what happened to the staircase except for Harriet who didn't know what happened but seemed to have an idea that I was the one that did it.

The ghosts didn't help, either with the castle's craziness. But I didn't have to worry about them misleading me as they seemed scared of me because of my devil heritage, so that meant that the ghosts always stayed meters away from me, well except for one. When I had encountered Peeves the Poltergeist he just seemed to freeze in my presence for a second before he shook it off and offered his services without any tricks. My thoughts were that Peeves like the other ghosts could sense my aura, but instead of quickly leaving Peeves seemed more interested in what I was here for.

Then there was Argus Filch, Hogwarts' grumpy old caretaker who was always followed by a cat named Mrs. Norris. I had a pleasant conversation with Filch when we first met which was from being lost near the forbidden room, and I soon learned that Argus was magically forced to be a caretaker at Hogwarts by the Ministry of Magic after he was convicted with killing a pure-bloods only daughter when he was in his twenties. Argus had never murdered the daughter as he was in truth having a secret relationship with her. When they were found out by the pure-blood daughter's father he had killed his daughter and pinned the murder of Argus, and because of wizards bigotry, Argus was sentenced to serve Hogwarts. So after being placed in Hogwarts for a few years with the students all making fun of him and trying to make him miserable, he became the bitter angry man he was and started trying to get students in trouble because he thought of it as payback. I had agreed with him but told him it was pure-blood bigotry that placed him there and not the half-bloods & muggle-borns who did and was soon able to convince him to only target pure-bloods except for other students that were causing trouble.

When we finally had our first classes of magic I learned that this universe used wands to cast magic that could be casually cast by the lowest of low-class devils and even then the magicians in my world only used wands and staves as foci to have there spells more powerful. There was also the fact that this world's magic was more hardwired and took a lot of power and concentration to make a new spell while my world had a lot more magic that could be shaped to the caster's imagination, it did require a lot of practice but you could make many magical spells in a single day if someone was dedicated.

Although I had to admit that there were some interesting branches of magic in this world and even some ancient magic that only a high ultimate-tier devil could make. So this world had some interesting topics for me to learn before I left for home.

We had to study the night skies through telescopes(which I shared with Harriet with a simple mind spell to the teacher) every Wednesday at midnight and learn the names of different stars and the movements of the planets (this was good for making more potent potions and spells powerful).
