November 1st

I woke up with a hang over and once I got up I left my room an went for a 2 hour run. After that I took a cold shower and brushed my teeth and had some coffee- black. Not gonna have any sugar while having a hang over.

"Dude, Becca, are you okay?" John said sitting next to me with his coffee in his hands.

"Yeah. Just have a huge hangover." I replied.

"Yeah me too." He replied after.

"Mhm," was all I said then downed my coffee and left the kitchen.

Walking into the "gaming" room I saw Mason playing like cod or something.

"Hey dude," I said sitting next to him.

"Hey." He said quickly and went back to his game.

"Alright then.." I said getting up and walking upstairs.

I looked at my watch at it read 1:38pm.

I wonder if Mylenah is wake. I thought my myself.

Waking to her room I knocked lightly then unlocking the door and stepping in.

"Hey, " she said to me looking up from her book that she was reading.

"What are you reading?" I asked sitting down on her bed cross legged.

"Of Mice and Men." She told me.

"What's that about?" I asked.

"You've never read it?" She looked at me wide eyed.

"Nope," I said popping the p.

"Dang, you're missing out."

"Why don't you read the first chapter to me?" I told her moving next to her on the bed so I wasn't in front of her.

"Okay." She said then turned to the first page and began reading.

~~

I wasn't really listening to the story I was just in a trance of listening to her beautiful voice and watching the way her mouth moved when someone else was saying something. She changed her voice up when it was someone else's part.

"So there we have it." She said.

"You're done?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said laughing.

"So what happened?" I asked her.

"You weren't listening?"

"I mean I was. I just kind of like... No I wasn't listening" I said laughing.

"George; the strong hearted one kills his friend Lennie who kills someone." She told me.

"Dang that's rough" I said

"Not as bad as what you do." She mumbled under her breathe.

I just didn't even bother with that because it was true.
