"Can we go?" I asked the mystery man irritated.

"We should probably talk later, Icee." I was out of my seat before he was able to finish his sentence.

I could hear the click of Brittany's heels as I tried to get out of the hallway and to my next class.

"Icee, wait up. You're walking to fast" she exclaimed out of breath. Did she really expect me to stop for her? All I want to do is get away from everyone. How did that man know who my dad is? My mom and I made no one was able to connect that asshole with us ever again.

I was going to punch brittany in the face as I felt her hand grab onto my bicep. How did she catch up in those 6in heels. When I turned, i felt my body tense up as I realised brittany now has a bread and piercing green eyes.

"Are you alright?" Manny asked concerned laced in voice. This alone made my heart skip. As I went to reply, I heard another familiar voice.

"Why does our principal think I should be threatened by your dad?" Brittany locked eyes with me in a glare.

My temporary paralysis left my body and I could feel my body heat up again. I clenched my jaw ready to tell her off.

"Fuck off" I was taken back by how deep my voice was. I looked up to see Manny's harden face glare down to brittany and realized he beat me to it.

Great minds like alike!

Brittany must have just noticed Manny standing near me because immediately she pulled down her shirt and began to flutter he eyelashes.

"Hey Manny" she said rolling out his name much longer than it should have been. Why is this girl so desperate? What the hell.

You could tell by the disgust on his face that he was not impressed by her actions. "Go away brittany" he grunted out, closely holding back on some of his anger.

"Only if you came with me." She replied seductively, trying to press up against him even more. Unbelievable.

His glare must have gotten the message to her since she immediately said "Icee, we'll talk later" with a fleeting expression on her face as she scurried away.

His face soften as he looked at me again. Can he not do this to me? He looks adorable with his vibrant green eyes shining with concern. Makes me want to hug him amd tell him everything is okay.

But this thought went away as soon as it came since I know I can't fall for those looks. No matter how cute that boy is. I dont need any distractions right now. That will only cause more harm than good

"Why us she asking about your dad?" He asked with his hand moving down onto my wrist.

"Long story but I got places to be." I yanked my hand away from him and ran down the hallway knowing he wouldnt be able to catch up to me.

I walked into my class late but that was the last thing on my mind. The teacher rolled her eyes and I did the same in return but she continued her class anyways.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what she was talking about. All I could think about was the principle. It was driving me insane not knowing how he knew me so well. All I know is that I have to get answers. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll be able to bring my mind to ease otherwise.

I ran out the side door and kept going until I saw the familiar street come into view. I really hope my mom isn't home, I dont want to be by anyone right now. I just need to get my head straight.

I walked back into the principal's office the moment I got out of classes.

Thankfully, my mom's car wasnt in the driveway. I immediately ran to my room once I was inside, I didnt plan on leaving it until I had to go to school the next morning.

I dont understand where my life was headed now. It's always been, go to school, come home, hit the gym, and fuck up anyone who wanted to fight me. This was supposed to be my life until I got enough money to move out and open my own gym.

Now I feel like everything is getting off track with my dad and Manny in the picture. I dont need either of them messing up my plan.
