Too bad, but its Too Sweet

Part 4: They Should Understand

You were confused "What does this mean ?" you think to yourself. Jungkook and Namjoon were expecting an answer but you ran away to your room, maybe Auggie had something to say. Tears started falling but you didn't know why, you didn't even know why you were feeling differently about all this

After reaching your room, the first thing you did was call Auggie. You dial her number and patiently wait on the line for her to respond. Usually it takes her no more than 5 second to respond but today it had been a while, and you were in a hurry too. You cancel the call and try calling multiple times.

"Hey, I am in a hurry right now, is it an emergency?" Auggie responds after a century

Tears were still running down your cheeks as you said "Yes, it is"

Auggie must have heard the pain as she replied with "Okay, okay, calm down and tell me what happened"

Still crying you said "so Jimin, he- he was kidnapped in our raid, and- and he gave Jungkook a- a box to give me and in- and- and inside there was a wedding ring" you explained

"What ! Jimin got caught !" said Auggie

"That is what you care about ?" you say annoyed, but later caught Auggie' sarcasm

"Oh, sorry, he got you a ring ?!" she said again, " I never knew that Jimin had feelings for you. What are you going to do now ?"

"I don't know, I told Namjoon that i had a bad feeling about that place but he didn't listen to me and now here we are, i bet if we had left, Jimin would have been fine and this situation would not have come up"

"Well, i hope that you get to see Jimin soon" said Auggie

"Me too, but... what if they killed him" you say thinking of the worst

"Don't say that, I am sure that he is fine and that you will see him soon"

"I hope you are right Auggie"

"Yeah, me too" she said "Now I really have to go, I will talk to you shortly, I promise, and you should get some sleep"

"Okay, bye, I probably won't get any sleep but i will still go to bed"

"Yes, goodnight ?" and she hung up the phone, leaving you in tears. For a moment you thought that she doesn't care about you, but maybe you really did need sleep more than a talk right now.

As you lay with your eyes close, trying to sleep, you notice Namjoon walk into your room, as he saw yo asleep, he turned off the light. He said something under his breath, but all you heard was "I wish I could tell her"

You heard his caring feelings towards you in his voice, maybe talking to him will comfort you, you get off your bed and make your way to Namjoon's office, trying not to cry. You heard Two voices when you were at the door, the voices were Namjoon and Jungkook. You didn't think that you would be interrupting them and you just walked inside.

As you approach him, he says "you know something, don't you ?"

That sentence caught you by surprise, "W-What....do you mean...." you asked. Jungkook looks at Namjoon in shock. Namjoon didn't respond to that, or change is stiff expression, he just got up and left you crying with no one but Jungkook in the room

"What was he talking about ? tell me Kookie" you cry, but he too walk off.

One thing was for sure, that today was a bad day, you go and shut yourself in your room, you lock the door and turn off all the lights and close the windows. You think of running away but Namjoon would find you. There had to be something that would cheer you up. You just cried on the floor.

Somehow you found a photo album, and you decided to give it a look there you found picture of you and everyone else, when you were only 14, now you had turned 20, and Namjoon was 25. In the album, you also found pictures of some of the other members, but their faces were scratched off. In a group photo, you noticed that in total there were 9 people including you. You only know about Suga, so there were 4 people in Suce-speranza.

Looking at the pictures just reminded you of the fact that Namjoon always treated you like a child, and now that angered you. You wish that for once you were treated like an adult, just one opportunity. You wanted to prove yourself responsible and intelligent.

This was a perfect opportunity to make a mature and "adult" move, you decided to go and have a little chat with Namjoon, even if he wanted to talk or not. You head downstairs to look for your brother, but he is not in the living room, neither is he in his bedroom, the library, or anywhere obvious. Where could he be ? Jungkook was not home either.

Maybe you could call Namjoon, but as you tried to call him you found that the signal was cut off, and calling anyone was impossible in the house. The doors were locked as well, but that was more of a common thing, they always locked the doors when they left the house or were in their rooms.

The only thing left to do was to search in the least expected places. As you checked the rows of the library, when you saw a book on the floor which reminded of something Namjoon would always say "Life gets tough, and you have to keep walking, there has to be something good at the end of the road, the only problem is that there is no end" You never knew what he meant by this, until now.

After you put the book away at 169.57 (according to the dewey decimal system), you decided to look at the end of the library, where you had never been, and there you found a certain dial-pad. Somehow you knew the passcode, which was the book's number. This revealed a fleet of stairs that led where, you didn't know, but it was time you found out.
