Basically, I heavily revised Waxing Moon and smoothed out some areas, and tried to speed up where the pace dragged in some places. I have changed quite a few scenes, added about 12-15 new chapters (the story starts of similarly and slowly veers to a newer one), and changed the dynamic a little bit. The language barrier is still here but it's a lot better written and she learns the language a little sooner. I cannot submit a true sequel to Waxing Moon without submitting the revised story, so that's what you're reading right now!
Waxing Moon is most definitely a first draft. It has plot holes, some inconsistencies, and the enemy could be much stronger. This book right here, The Blood of Rubies, addresses those issues.
Basically I am keeping Waxing Moon up because there are nuances of it that readers enjoyed.
So again, this is not a sequel.
