Students trudged into the auditorium of Callaver High School half in excitement and half in dread of the news that every student knew was about to come—The annual end of the year party. Principal Donaver thought it was always a great was to bring students together during the stress of state testing and have a night of food, fun, and......love.
What Principal Donaver didn't know what it was also a night of constant bullying for the "lower class" students that inhabited the school. As much as staff tried to deny and hide it, Callavar high school was not as friendly as the press made it seem.
As expected, the football players and cheerleaders of the school filled the front row seats of the auditorium and the kids that you would expect to see in a geometry club filed into the back of the large room, desperate to hide from the tormenting stares of people like Quarterback Jace Johnson or Team Captain Antonio "T-Dog" Vega.
All chatter in the room hushed as the deafening squeal of a microphone too close to a speaker sounded, loud enough to make a deaf man wince.
"Well...that seemed to get your attention," joked assistant principle Mr. Cordero at the newly silent mass of teenagers. Not a single laughed escaped their mouths from the cringe worthy "dad" joke.
"Anyways....i'm sure all returning students know why we are gather—"
Mr. Cordero was cut off by the slamming of the exit door. All eyes darted to the noise and landed on one of the lower class students,-Alec Halling. The new eerie silence was nothing compared to the newfound deafening silence that hushed over the audience as they all slowly realized that Alec was expelled 2 weeks ago....and that his hand held a gun.

Callaver High School Main office
"I swear to everything if you don't hurry up I wil—"
"Got it"
Santos smirked as he held up a packet that held password to virtually everything in the school....including the online Gradebook.
Isaac smiles at his best friend and joined him behind the wooden desk of Principal Donaver, swiftly logging in to her private laptop.
Santos types rapidly at the white keys, punching in codes and passwords that made no sense to Isaac but he went with it anyways cus they had been doing it all year and it seemed to work.
"Alrighty....now you and me both happened to get 96.7'a on our ELA tears and you my friend are no longer failing science." Isaac looked at his heinous friend and wondered where he would be without him. There bro-ment was cut short when footsteps approached just outside the door to the main office. Santos shoved Isaac into the closet behind the desk and hastily closed everything out of the laptop just in time to see none other than Callie Ryder walk into the office.
Now don't get me wrong, Callie Ryder was great and everything but she just tended to stray a little to far when it came to following rules. But that didn't matter to her ex, Isaac who was tucked beside a principals king size bag of lemon cough drops right now.
"Esteban...is that you?" Santos sighed deeply and turned the swivel chair around to find a very disappointed Callie.
Esteban was Santos' older brother. He was a Junior and Santos was a Sophmore, so Santos was pretty much aquatinted with every girl in Junior year...especially since his brother was on the baseball, football, and basketball teams for the school. Anyways, back to our scenario.
"Callie...hi" Santos tried to not give the cheating woman attitude but it was hard after knowing what she did to his brother just 8 months ago.
"Look, Santos, I said I'm sorry and you gotta forgive me. I just really need a favor and I had a feeling I'd find you and Isaac in here."
"Hiiiii Calliiieeee" Isaac said muffled through the door of the closet. Santos sighed and let his friend out.
"What do you want Callie. Let's get this over with"
It turns out, Callie wanted to be made "un-absent" last Friday. Santos had a good guess as to where she had been but ignored the thought that she was know messing around with his other older brother, Mateo. Santos reluctantly provided her favor than told her to leave. She was half way out the door when the first gunshot rang out.
