h-he's not safe? where i-is he? answer m-me!" Bill said, while shaking Eddie's shoulders "stop it, Bill!" Richie yells at him "Eds, do you know how we can find him?" Richie asks in the soft tone he always, and only gets with Eddie for some reason.

Eddie nods "i..find."

"w-where is he? lead us to h-him!"
"can't."
"what do you me-mean? i n-need to f-find G-Georgie!"
Eddie grabs Bill's phone out of his pocket

"h-hey!"
"shh."
Eddie sits on the bed and Bev, Ben, Bill, and Stan all stood up

Eddie taps his fingers around the phone and presses a few buttons, turning it on
after a few minutes of doing so, he, and everyone else hears a voice, the voice sounds young, maybe about 5-6 years of age, it was a quiet voice, Georgie's voice.

"Billy!" they all heard screams "Georgie..." Richie whispers, his voice being drowned out by Georgie's screams.

suddenly they stop and Eddie looks up at them "bad s-signal."

Bill hugs him tight and Eddie stands there, not knowing what to do "t-thank you E-Eddie!" he exclaims

"everyone! we need to go to the school. they have good signal and all that tech stuff." Richie says

"how do we get him in?" Stan asks, pointing to Eddie

"we can figure it out, the teachers don't exactly pay much attention to what anyone does." Richie explains to Stan

"fine, but you need to clean him up, he has mud all over his face from that night, his hair's all messed up, and he needs clothes." Stan says, crossing his arms.

"okay, Eds, can you go take a shower for me?" Richie asks in that same soft tone

Eddie nods "o..kay" Eddie nods and walks into the bathroom, closing the door, almost completely, but not all the way.

he gets undressed, steps into the cold bathtub, trying to work the dials Richie has on the shower, cold water immediately comes out, causing Eddie to jump and step back, he quickly turns it off and tries the other dial, hot water spraying from the shower head, he jumps back and squeals quietly, he tries turning them both on and jumps back putting his hand under the water, it feels nice, he steps under the water and the warm water hits his skin he grabs a bottle labeled shampoo. he looks at it puzzled for a second, confused as what to do with it, he picked it up "R..ichie, what is sham...poo?" he says, hoping Richie heard him, since he's a quiet person.

Richie walks to the door, standing outside of the door "it's for your hair, eds. so is the bottle that says 'conditioner' on it" Richie explains to him

"thank...you" Eddie says back quietly

"he dosen't know what shampoo is?" Stan asks Richie, raising an eyebrow.

"he dosen't understand a lot of things. i’m not sure why though" Richie says

they hear the water stop and look towards the door, waiting for the door open.

five minutes, five turning into ten, ten turning into fifteen

“eds, you okay in there ?” Richie asks, in that same soft tone eddie always hears from him.

“no clothes. no... towel” Eddie replies.

“okay, i’ll find you some clothes and a towel, just wait a second.” Richie tells him.

he quickly runs downstairs to grab a towel, running back upstairs and goes through his dresser drawers, finding Eddie a red hoodie with the ‘adidas’ logo in the corner of it, and then some jeans, a pair of white socks with red and blue stripes on the top of them, then a pair of his old shoes, vans.

he opens the door slightly, turning away and handing everything he grabbed for him. when eddie grabs the towel and clothes from him, he closes the door waiting for eddie to get dressed

they started talking about random shit, ben somehow telling bev she’s beautiful until bev says “that’s not true! i’m ugly.” she says, Bill, Stan, and Mike reassuring her that she’s not ugly “bev you’re honestly pretty, shut up.” Richie says, rolling his eyes.

Eddie walks out, and Richie smiles at him, the hoodie way too big for the smaller boy and hanging low.

“okay, just brush his hair and we’re good to go.” Stan says

“let’s go downstairs and wait.” bev suggests. everyone following behind, and Richie shutting the door behind them.

“Richie?” Eddie asks, quiet as always

“yeah, eds ?” Richie turns towards the boy, handing him a brush.

Eddie starts brushing his hair,while looking in the mirror “pretty ?” he asks the taller boy

Richie looks at him puzzled “what ?"

“pretty ? like bev ?” Eddie sets the brush on Richie’s bed

“prettier.”
