Chapter - 2

Kongpob's POV:

Hi! I'm Kongpob Suthilluck. A 3rd year student majoring in economics at SSU. I love studying hare with my friends. I hope you guys know them. If not, I can tell their names to you guys.

They are Aim; Wad; Tew; Oak; Aroon; May, Aim's girlfriend; Praepailin; Maprang. I have met all of them in my freshman year except Aroon. He is my childhood friend. Also his father is also my pa's business partner and a dear friend. Aroon has a little brother who is two year younger than us. His name is Arthit.

Arthit is cute, pretty (though a man can't be called pretty but he is actually pretty) and adorable. His chubby cheeks and his dimples when he smiles are my favorite. I always want to pinch his cheeks. He gets mad when I do that. He looks adorable when he gets mad, I kinda like that. I always wanted to have a little brother, with him my wish gets fulfilled. He hangs out with our group when he has time. Well everyone in my group adores him. He is some whom people want to love and protect. Though I get mad when someone pinches his cheeks or gets too close with him, I don't know why.

I met him when I was attending Ai'Aroon's birthday party. That time he almost drowned himself in the pool but I saved him. After that I guess I started to think of him like my little brother and always want to protect him. My family and my friends are my power and my weakness. I love them and will do anything to protect them.

Today I am going to propose to a girl by singing a song, wish me good luck. I didn't tell any of my friends about this. Only Aim knows. He helped me to choose the song and I'm grateful for that.

I am currently at my faculty's cafeteria and singing a song for my crush. My friends are looking at me, the looks they are giving me is clearly showing they are confused as to why I'm doing this but Aim tells them something. I guess he told them why I'm singing in the middle of the cafeteria and after hearing that they started cheering for me.

The girl I am singing for is looking impressed. I guess I have won her heart.

After the song ends, I go to talk with her. She agreed to date me. I am so so happy. I took her to introduce her with my friends. I see they are looking at us and Arthit is also with them. They are happy to meet each other.

Few minutes later N'Arthit says he has to go to his class and tell his brother not to wait for him and to go home and also informs he will be late and knott will drop him. I didn't know he hangs out with his friends or stays with them late as he always stays with us when he is free. It's odd.

But I brushed off that thought when he left and started talking with my girlfriend. I drop her home after her class ends and tell her that I will pick her up tomorrow. I was too happy to have her.

Next day I go to Neen's house and pick her for uni. On the way we were talking and asking about each other's lives , our likes, our dislikes, what we do in our free time, how much I like basketball. I also tell her how I and Aroon are friends from childhood and how I met his brother Arthit. After that she starts to tell about how she like my friends and all

Neen: You have some good and faithful friends.

Kongpob: Yes you are right they are. I love them all.

Neen: I like them also. But I think I like Arthit the most, he's the cutest.

Kongpob: Hahaha, you're right. He is the cutest. I always like to pinch his cheeks for this reason. Hahaha..

Neen: I wanted to pinch his cheeks too. But I didn't since I don't want to be rude. Do you think he'll let me pinch his cheeks next time?

She was looking at me with hopeful eyes but I don't know why I didn't like that idea. I don't want her to pinch his cheeks. I don't know what to tell her so I told her that I don't know if Arthit would like that or not. After listening to that she said it's ok and we go to uni. After reaching uni we went to our respective classroom, before that I told her to join me at lunch.

At lunchtime we were sitting with my group though Arthit was missing. I asked Aroon about his whereabouts.

Kongpob: Ai'Aroon, where is N'Arthit?

Aroon: He said he will be with his friends. I didn't ask him more. Why are you asking though?

Kongpob: Oh ok. Well he always has his lunch with us, since he didn't come I thought anything was wrong, that's why.

Aroon: Nothing is wrong. If anything was wrong he would have told me. So don't worry about him that much Ai'Kong. He will be alright.

Kongpob: Hmm you are right.

We had our lunch and went to our classes and at the end of the day I dropped Neen off at her house and went home.

It's been so many days since I have seen Arthit. He has stopped hanging out with our group. I don't see him around in the uni either. Though he talks with my other friends and also joins them to hang around when I am not with them.

Is he by any chance avoiding me? Or is it my thinking?

Urgh I don't know.

Today I saw him with his friends talking about something and laughing. When I called them, all of them looked nervous and excused themselves saying they had class which was probably a lie. Since the other 1st years were hanging around just fine, without any tension of class.

I can't think anymore what is going on. I don't know what is wrong with him. I go home after completing my day.

Reaching home I decided to talk about this with Aroon. I guess he will know the answer why Arthit is avoiding me like this. I will ask him about it tomorrow morning.
