"Stay with me forever, sweetheart.", she said with a smile that caused my heart to burst. Her pink hair, swirling and twisting in the crisp, autumn wind. The coat she had rested around my shoulders doing its best to keep out cold. 

"Okay, I will."

After having said that, I could see the life that those three simple words brought to her eyes. To know that words as simple as those could bring one person so much happiness startled me. She pulled me into an embrace that was warm and full of unspoken affection.

"I love you."

There it is again, three simple words that alone, do not hold that much weight but when put together in one small sentence, they could hold the weight of the world within each letter.
