Chapter 3 ✅

I woke up from my sleep because i was unable to sleep. I went out of my room and went down to get a drink

Just as i was about to go back to my room, i heard Jimin sighing and grumbling by himself.

His light was still on. I could hear him cursing and papers flipping

I opened the door and peeked inside. I saw Jimin at his desk with a pile of papers and his laptop open.

I watched him struggle through it.

'its your time to shine y/n! You have to make him lose the bet! You can't lose!' you thought to yourself

You knocked on the door and entered his room.

"your still up?" he asked me

"yeah. I couldn't sleep" i told him

I went up beside him and looked at his pile of papers

"what are you doing?" i asked him

"the company's finance is falling. We have problems that seem to never end" he explained to me

I leaned against his desk and faced him who was sitting on his chair

I might not be running a company but i did receive several education for it.

I looked through one of the problem that was sent by one of the managers.

This problem talks about the amount of wasted products that we have and we have less sales as of this year

"Why don't we just recycle the products and launch a new 'go green' product to attract the customers? The trend at the moment is recycled uses. So we could increase sales as well as put use to the waste products" i explained to him as he read the paper.

"that's a good idea. I didn't think about that. How did you learn to think like that?" he asked me

I smiled at him and chuckled

" we had the same education Jimin" i reminded him

"right. How about this?" he asked me

That night, we went through the papers together. We had played around here and there but we finished the papers in less than 4 hours

I looked at the time and it was a little pass 1am

We tidied up and had a little chat

"why did you agree to the marriage?" Jimin asked me

I sighed "because that's what i had to do. Keep to responsibilities. I kind of knew it was gonna happen one day" i admitted

"you did?" he asked a bit shocked

"well, yeah. Its only normal for us to fall into this situation. Just make use of it i guess" i said

We kept quiet after that. I looked at Jimin and he was staring at me with eyes I've not seen before.

I see a new side of Jimin and that made me smile.

"its getting late. We better sleep" i said

I quickly walked back to my room and locked the door, i slid down the door and felt my racing heartbeat.

I tried to slow it down by breathing slowly in and out.

Visions of his expressions and face came up.

He looked so cute
