Hyun-Ki's pov
I decided again to ask her on a date but its a special one because i will ask her if she wants to be my official girlfriend now i hope she is not busy, so i decided to text her.
"hey you busy?"
"Can we go out? Later?"
I waited for her texts or calls but its been like an hour and she still didn't reply I know she isn't this busy so I decided to call Jae-Sun
"Has Hee-Young texted or called you? She isn't replying to my texts" I said throught the phone with worry lacing through my voice.
"Wait you didn't know?" Jae-Sun said with a broken voice, whatever happened to her it sounds like Jae-Sun is not ok.
"About what?" I asked still with worry,
"Hee-Young got into an accident she was crossing the street when a driver is driving illegally fast and not stopping and now she's in a come doctors doesn't know when will she wake up" Jae-Sun said as i hear him crying at the other line.
At that exact moment, I felt my world and the time stopped I'm shocked not knowing what to do, my phone trembled in my hands and a tear slipped in my eye as my phone dropped to the floor as i hear it crack and pounce onto the floor.
At that night, i cried and cried hoping she is ok hoping she'll wake up soon i thought i'll be the one to save her but i guessed i failed not knowing what to do, I decided to just go to the hospital and visit her.
*At the Hospital*
I saw her frail body in a hospital bed lying down with tubes connecting into her keeping her alive, I already saw her and i already wanted to break down I wanna stop myself from crying.
I am mad, angry and every single word that people can say when I am angry, I am going to kill whoever did this to her, one tear slipped from my eye as i saw her there lying...lifeless....
I sat beside her and hold and caressed her hand,
"Hee-Young ah wake up now please be ok I am here....we're here for you....you're brother....me your soon to be boyfriend..and...and" I can't talk properly as i broke down beside her, crying as i feel my heavy heart and shoulder getting heavier with every seconds passing...
At this moment, I wanna just kill the one who did this to her, I wanna take revenge for her.....seeing her like this makes my heart break....i caressed her cheek as i smiled with tears flowing down my cheeks...
"Hee-Young ah today was supposed to be special....today is the day i should be asking you to be my official girlfriend...i waited for you but news came to me you're here and....and..and" I choked into my own words and tears as i keep looking into her....I just can't handle it when she is like this
Yes we just met for awhile but seeing the person you cared for is in this situation will make you feel so broken and that you just want to cry because you can't do anything.....it hurts....so much
*Time Skip*
I walked back to my penthouse looking all so depressed, distressed, sad, any words you can describe a broken person.....I decided to drink the night away.....I wanna tell myself I am ok but i know and everyone knows I am not so why lie? As i drink the night away i remember every single memory i had with Hee-Young the way she smiles, the way she laugh and everything about her makes me smile and feel loved....
As i keep drinking the night away I am so drunk that i can't even remember every single thing i did
*Another Time Skip*
I woke up with a hangover i decided to just kill with a painkiller and water...take a bath, get dressed, and go to the hospital again to visit Hee-Young
As i am driving to the hospital Jae-Sun called me saying Hee-Young woke up...my world became bright again and it is turning again and again i felt happy once again..
I rushed inside the hospital and to her room...I opened the door there i saw everyone Jae-Sun, their mother and father....even Il-Sun is there and her other friend collegues...
As i opened the door everyone looked at me.....their eyes with tears and broken souls and broken hearts...the room is quiet and awkward I saw her looking around the room with confusion drawn in her face and then she looked at me I smiled at her and sat beside her and held her hands into my hands
"Hee-Young ah.....You're finally awake" I said to her with a bright beaming smile,
But then....words came out of her mouth that i didn't expect she would say that, that my world became dark and falls apart again...the words that make my heart ripped out my chest and get crushed by her own hands....words that stabbed my heart so deep...words that made bled to death....At this moment again....I wanna cry, and drink the night away again.....words that no one should hear....
A stranger passing another stranger? No its a stranger passing someone who knows that stranger
"Who are you?"
A/N: Soooo sorry if i just updated just now I am really busy with school and like exams are coming up so i have to study earlier and yeah hope you like this chapter!!!
