"FRIENDS"

Sorry. I couldn't upload the chapters regularly due some urgent personal work. But now I'm going to upload the chapters regularly and frequently. Thanks for reading uptill now. Hope you all like the story build up.

My eyes got wide open. Am I dreaming? I flapped my eyes twice and he is still there with two beautifully carved eyes looking at me.

"Can I sit ? Pointing towards the empty chair.

"Ahh...Yes ofcourse" I said surprise with my tailored voice coming out of my mouth.

We sat with awakward silent trying to put some pieces of food into my mouth.

"No seat" He said pointing out to the surrounding.

"Yes.Yes" I said agreeing. With this I become aware that I'm still on earth and sitting in a fully crowded food corner.

Again an awkward silence. There was lot going on my mind. Why he is sitting here ? Stupid! Don't over think he is just sitting here because there is no seat around. Okay !but he seems friendly. Doesn't he think that I may become a stalker as he is celebrity. Ofcourse! He thinks you are stupid, idiot! He must be thinking that you would not have any idea who he is. He has no interest in you.

"Stop" I said to my mind. Our eyes met and I saw him holding his sandwich midway of biting.

I wondered why he is looking at me like this wondering as if I am the weird one. There goes my mind again ,see I told you he thinks you are weird and now its confirmed.

Wait. Did I say it out loud which surprised him. " Sorry.Sorry ..Ah I was thinking. I gestured for thinking out loud. "OOHHH" He said smiling at me. "Surprised!" He said gesturing with his hands near his heart.

I smiled back at him feeling stupid.

"You from here? He said pointing at me.

"No. I have come here for work." I replied.

"Work..hmmm" he said nodding and eating his sandwich.

" You" I said pointing at him. This was the stupidest thing I did when I already know who he is.

" Mmm. I not from here. I work for the company" He said with innocent eyes. Hearing this I couldn't stop myself from smiling. He is trying to bluff me .

"Alex" Said stretching his hand out.

" Natasha" I said shaking his hands and with a big smile.

"Good" Where are you from? He said.

"India. But I live in Vietnam now." I replied.

"I'm from Korea" He informed . I had a huge smile on my face as if this information is new to me. It's cute .

"You like it." He said pointing at the pasta that I had ordered.

"Oh! Yes. I like it but not that much." I said. " And how did you find this place" I asked . It would be good to keep the conversation continued. I didn't want this thing to stop.

"Hmmm...I like it ..the place." He said trying hard to explain in English.

"Okay. So you love to explore places like this." I said slowly so that he can get complementing it with hand gestures. I can understand the language problem as I come from a country where we have multiple cultures and languages vary from state to state. So even in my country itself it is difficult for me to communicate if I travel to different region. And he comes from a non-English speaking country.

He understood. He nodded frantically. "I love to take photos. Sceneries" he said excitedly.

"I also like to visit places and though I don't take so much photos but I love seeing beautiful places" I complemented his excitement.

"Good. Good" he said smiling largely now.

" What is your best place uptill now" I asked.

" Hmm. It's korea.But I also go to LA,Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur,China,Japan and many" He informed.

"Ohh. List is huge." I gestured huge with my hands.

He started laughing and said " I understand. You are funny."

I smiled sheepishly. Thank God Its good conversation and not an awkward one as it started earlier.

"Where are you going?" he said after this gesturing with hands.

" I'll check out local handicraft market and then I'll go back to hotel" I answered.

"Okay. I also do the same" he said with a friendly smile.

I showed a thumps sign to him smiling. "Together?" he said with a question mark on his face.

I got silent for moment thinking is he asking me or he is thinking that I asked him to go together. Anyways I became a little bit bold and said.

"Yes.together." Pointing to both of us. "It would be fun to go together" I said with little bit of apprehension.

"Cool" He said getting up from his chair as we both had finished eating.

"Lets go" he gestured towards the market.

I nodded and got up picking up my bag. Just then I saw his hand reached out to me for a handshake.

"Friends !" he said with wondering eyes.

"Friends" He replied with excitement. This is going good and wished to remain this way.
