Andrea is sleeping while I'm on watch. It is now early morning; guessing it is 5:00 am. The feast will take place at noon. I feel so horrible for leaving mark there to rot. Andrea is crying in her sleep, and I decide to wake her up. "Good morning," I coo into her ear. She jumps up and grabs her knifes. "I'm starving!" she declares and rubs her tummy in recognition. "Me too," I reply and we both go over to our back packs to grab some food for breakfast. I reach my hand into the bag only to find it empty. Andrea had the same results. "What the heck?" I am furious. Did the game makers really just take away all of our supplies? all we have are our weapons. This is crazy.

"Attention tribute! you may have noticed your backpacks have been emptied. At the feast, your backpacks will contain your supplies with additional ones too! this feast is not to be ignored. Good luck!"

We both are furious with this. Haven't we suffered enough? My family is watching me trying to stay alive and how am I supposed to do that with no fuel? I want to scream at the top of my lungs. But I don't. So instead I say," Should we go hunting?" "Yup," Andrea replies and we grab our weapons. I take the packs and drown them at the nearest lake. They even took our invisible tent when we turned around. We go hunting together as stealthily as possible. No luck at all. "I could have sworn there were blue animals bouncing around a minute ago!" I mutter. I'm so hungry! Then I hear it. Something ticking. Then I realize, it's a bomb.

But that wasn't the case. A silver parachute came floating down towards us, and I breathe a sigh of relief. Andrea opens it up to find bread, cheese, and some delicious fruit. A little note said it was from Mark. I was so thankful that I shouted a thank you before I covered my mouth in stupidity. We devour our precious meal. I look at the sun. It's now 11:45ish. We grab our weapons and creep over to the cornucopia. The packs aren't there yet. But I see a hover craft in the distance. It slowly rises behind some buildings and before I know it, it's right above the mouth of the cornucopia. The hovercraft places the packs down and flies off. Temptation licks at my heels. And before we even know it, we both are off and running.

I run slower than her. She zips toward our packs, and I stay to fight off others. A team of kids come out and rush towards the pack, but they are blown sky high before they draw out there weapons. A bomb hidden killed three kids. BOOM BOOM BOOM!!! The careers come out weapons drawn, and blood thirsty. They rush towards me. Otis throws a spear at me and it whistles past my kidney. They charge. I draw back and arrow and fire it at the leg of the girl from four. It misses. "Crap!" I yell. Andrea runs into the forest as I told her to. The careers advance onto me. I pull back another arrow but a knife plunges it's leg into my calf. I scream and the arrow goes into a tree. Otis tackles me to the ground. I'm pinned and he holds a sword to my throat. "Any last words?" I choke out, "You are sick!" He glares at me and swings his sword. It barely touches my neck before he is tackled by Derek.

They tackle each other while I get out of the almost-close-to-death experience. I stand up and I look to see them yelling. "You sick devil!" shouts Derek. "Tough luck!" Screams Otis as he plunges the spear into Derek's side. "NOO!" I scream. "You stupid little..." but Otis never got to finish his sentence, because an arrow soars into his back and his cannon sounds.
