Chapter 4

Wanda leads Lorna into the room that she would be staying in, which was right next to hers so they wouldn't be too far away from each other.

𝒲: "Welcome to your new room!"
ℒ: "Wow, all this.. for me? N-no i'm fine being on the couch in the main room sis, I-"
𝒲: "No! This is your room! It used to be... Vision's.. but it's yours now!" She says with a reassuring smile.
ℒ: "Wanda.. I'm sorry about what happened with Vision. I can tell he meant a lot to you."

She puts her hand on Wandas shoulder and smiles. "You may have lost Vision and Pietro.. but at least you have me!" She wipes a tear and hugs Wanda tightly.
𝒲: "Thank you, Lorna. I'm so glad your back."
ℒ: "Me too.. me too."

*later that evening*

It was 7:30pm and everyone was finishing up dinner. Everyone did their usual shifts. Rhodes would wash dishes, Bruce would clean the table and counter tops, Sam polished the cutlery, Bucky mopped and brushed the floor, and Peter would throw away any left over food or would take out the trash.
𝒫: "Phwoar! I hate the trash!"
ℬ: "Zip it, kid and just take it out."
𝒫: "Yes, Mr Barnes. Sir."

Wanda walls over to a quiet and angry-looking Bucky.
𝒲: "What's your deal?"
ℬ: "What are you talking about?"
𝒲: "This! What just happened with you and Peter! Why are you always picking on him? He's only 18. Cut him some slack Buck. Please. He's already been through.."
ℬ: "A LOT! Yeah I know! But what about me, Wanda? I lost my best friend. My only friend. And he's gone.. and I don't know what to do or how to act with anyone anymore so IM SORRY if I can't be nice enough to someone when I'm going through the similar kind of sh*t that he's going through too!"
And with that, he storms out the door to his room.
Wanda rolls her eyes and carries the rest of the plates into the drawer.

*9:25pm*

Wanda was just about to lie in for the night when she almost forgot to say goodnight to Lorna. She wore her slippers and walked over to her room and opened the door, to find her busy with someone on the phone..

𝒲: "Uh, hey Lorna. Who are you talking to?"
ℒ: "Oh, no one just.. my boyfriend. Yeah he called me to know where I was staying and if I was okay."
𝒲: "Oh! That's cute! Well sleep tight Lorna I'll see you tomorrow. Good night".
ℒ: "Night Wanda."
Wanda smiles and shuts the door and walks to her bed and falls asleep..

ℒ: "What kind of plan do you have then?"
??: "A plan that acquires you, Lorna, to take down the rest of the puny heroes and take over the HQ. With Tony's tech, my brains and your power we are unstoppable.. unless of course, you don't want to, and your little lover here will need to suffer the consequences.."
ℒ: "Leave him alone! Fine! What is the first step?" She wipes her tears and looks out at the city lights. "What do I have to do?"
??: "Let's start by getting the strongest of them to team up with us.. per say.. that girl.. what was her name?.. oh yes.. Wanda. Get her on our side. Brainwash her. Manipulate her. If she joins us, the avengers are nothing against us. Do this and the boy lives.. And remember one small thing.. if you tell anyone about this plan, say bye bye to your boyfriend. And don't think that we won't know you haven't told anyone. My secret team have hacked a few recording bugs into Tony's tech, so we are able to hear each and every little thing that happens in that HQ. So is that a deal, Polaris?"
ℒ: "It's a deal..."
