The nightmares (italicized sections) may be a little disturbing. I'm not sure.

I just want to say something incase it is.

We watch the rain for a long while. The thunder is getting worse.

He seems to be getting better, since he's less pale.

He's getting better faster than normal.

He stands up. "What medicine was that?"

"Normal cold medicine, why?"

"I feel fine now."

He looks better too.

I nod, then walk over to the bathroom.

I hear him go upstairs.

I finish doing my business, then walk out to the living room.

There's a flash of lightning and I catch a glimpse of a ghostly figure just outside of the dark windows. I scream and run upstairs, not questioning how dark it got.

I run into something. I look up, and it's just him. I sigh with relief. "Oh, it's just you."

Suddenly black liquid starts dripping out of his eyes. I start backing up as he gets closer, his neck bending unnaturally.

I turn to run downstairs, but there's the other ghost, smiling at me with all it's teeth.

I get grabbed from behind. I scream, when his sharpened teeth sink into my neck.

I wake up on the couch, screaming.

I hold my neck, and move my hand away, expecting to see blood or that strange black liquid, but there's nothing.

He walks over. "Why were you screaming?"

I start shaking as tears roll down my cheeks.

I cover my neck with my hand where I was bitten in the nightmare.

He hops over the couch and sits near me. I look down at my lap.

"What happened?"

I hug him tightly. He tenses up, but doesn't push me away immediately.

Through tears, I explain the nightmare to him.

He hugs back.

"It's just a nightmare, that won't happen."

"B-But what if it does?!"

"I can't even bend my neck like that. I seriously doubt that will happen."

I bury my face in his chest and sob loudly. "Wh-What if we die here?! Wh-What if n-no one cares?!"

He rubs my back gently.

"Calm down. I'm sure they'll start looking for us when the storm ends."
