*Note* short chapter.. Will be a longer one next time.
I am freaking out right now, but I have to go and find my brothers. I am the babysitter before the bus comes, because my dad has to go to work at 7:00 a.m. Now I have to go and find them. I look in their room, behind the couch, behind the dining room double doors, and every other place that they could have hidden. They were nowhere to be seen. Could someone have snuck in and kidnapped them? Where could they be? What if they ran away? If any of they ran away, or got kidnapped I would be in trouble. More importantly I would lose two of my closest family members.
“Boys where are you? If you are hiding then you are going to be in big trouble!” I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it I was startled to see the both standing there. “Where were you? Are you guys okay? You scared me half to death!”
“We were just outside. We were playing with our new friend, he won’t tell us his name. He ran away because we kept asking him his name, and he said he does not like us anymore.” One of my brothers said, “He said he will come and find us tonight, so we have to stay outside. He was really mad at us.”
“Okay, well you have to get inside because we only have a few minutes until the bus comes. You still have to brush your teeth and get your backpacks before it comes. That is exactly in ten minutes! Hurry, run!”
“No we can’t, I already told you that we could not come outside. Something bad will happen if we do!,” they both replied unanimously.
“Fine, I”ll go get your backpacks, let’s go.”
As we headed out to the bus stop I noticed they were both walking funny. I didn’t think anything of it. I should’ve asked them about it, because what happened next changed all of our lives forever.
