I was once the everyday normal school girl, if you can call being abandoned by your parents at the age of 13 normal. My name is Crescent Moon McKane and I make that known. The day my parents left was the day that I realized I couldn't trust anyone, that is until I met the one person I could. My story starts in ninth period math class at Waltz High School. I was seventeen turning eighteen in a month. I lived in Florida and I hated the heat. I sat next to the window and I couldn't stop a feeling that someone was watching me; I'd been feeling this way for almost half a year. It first started in December and it was April.

I was a quiet person, mean but quite, and when I did talk I didn't hold my tongue. People were mostly afraid of me so they'd just stay away. I have extremely long, black hair that can almost touch my knees when I stood straight. I have bright green eyes that always seem to glow, and I'm slightly tanned from the sun. I knew for a fact someone was watching me. I was staring out the window and that's when I saw him. He was staring right at me. His hair was pitch black and was long enough to cover his nose if he wanted. He had pale pink lips which bore two black lip rings. He had skin as pale as the moon.

"Crescent!" my teacher snapped at me, "pay attention NOW!"

I can't stand it when teachers yelled at me, so I tell them off.

"Okay, maybe I would pay attention if you started teaching like you aren't dumb, otherwise how the hell am I going to learn math?" I said calmly.

I gave her a bit of an attitude and a smirk crossed my face. I couldn't stand this teacher and I wasn't sure why, it was probably because she always picks me out the crowd.

"That's it, I'm done with you never paying attention in class and always giving me an attitude. Get to the principal's office now," she said giving me an attitude back so I played her little game.

"Oh wow, what exactly do you think Timothy is going to do? You're honestly going to send me to my uncle and think he's going to do something. The most he will give me is one day of detention, and we both know that I will return angry. Do you want that? I didn't think so. So shut up and leave me alone you moronic buffoon," I said giving her the evil eye.

"Excuse me!? Who do you think you are?!? One more time and I will make sure you will at the very least get suspended and detention when you get back, try me," she screeched.

An evil smile had spread across as I looked her dead in the eye. She could tell that I was just going to push my luck with her today and I could tell by the expression she wore on her face.

"Okay, you are a retarded teacher who doesn't know a thing about what she's teaching. A dumbfounded bird has more brains than what you could ever have. Would you like me to continue?" I said smiling.

That did it. Her light skin was turning red to blue, to purple. I took a quick glance outside the window before my teacher was going to explode. There he still was, but the corners of his mouth were slightly lifted. Was he amused? How could he have heard anything that was said? The windows were shut to keep in the cold air from the air conditioner, so how could he have heard? I turned away and stared at my teacher who had gone through all the color of the rainbow and back.

"Look you're purple again," I said almost childishly.

The class exploded with laughter as I looked at Ms. M with narrowed eyes to show that I have won our little tug of war game. I may not be liked by anyone but I sure did know how to put on a good show when I was mad. She exploded with so many words a teacher shouldn't be saying to a student. I got on her last nerve and I only amused me. After her outburst the class fell as silent as a graveyard.

Mrs. Huss came in and called Ms. M out into the hall. I took that as my chance to look outside again, and he was gone. I sighed not really knowing why and I didn't bother to figure it out, most likely I would never see him again. Ms. M came back in the class and Mrs. Huss called me out into the hall and she told me to take my stuff with me. As I passed my teacher I gave her a look that said 'this isn't over'.
