September 34, 1998:

The Oompa Loompa stared longingly at the banana peel. He knew that he could no longer feast on the flesh of children, as he had done countless times before under Willy Wonka's leadership, now that Charlie had taken over.

After years and years under Charlie's reign, the Oompa Loompa could no longer contain his hunger, and went out in search of another child he could consume. He put on his nicest coat, and went out.

The people of the area knew him. They trusted him. When the neighbourhood kids started disappearing, no one suspected a thing. They even caught the perpetrator! At least- who they thought, was behind all this. Of course, the Oompa Loompa walking down the street at this very moment-known by all his friends as Chad-was not responsible for all these disappearances. It was those aforementioned friends who had done the dirty work before. They had offered him some, seeing as even they were realizing how hungry he was, though Chad never ate any, even though he was ravenous.

Suddenly, a rank, exquisite smell filled Chad's nostrils. His eyes searching for the source of this aroma, abruptly stopping when he recognized the stench of his near-forgotten memories. Chad desperately trying to pinpoint the location of the child.

There it was.

The child he had been waiting for.

The kid turned around, and when it spotted Chad, its face brimmed with happiness. "A real Oompa Loompa!" The child squealed out loud. Chad almost felt pity that it's last thoughts would be a lie, for as he was finally going to try one of these delicious delicacies.

"Hello, mister!! Are you really a real Oompa Loompa?"

"Of course, little boy!"

"Oh boy!! Really, mister? That's so cool! I can't wait to tell my friends, they'll be so jealous! My name's Mark."

Just then, a little seed of doubt had been planted. Chad again, almost felt bad for the little child, Mark.

"Oh but what a lovely name, Mark!"

Chad moved closer to the child. When he was within arms reach, he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a chloroform rag.

"Mister Oompa Loompa? What's in your hand?"

Chad lunged forward, grabbing the child's head, and put the rag over his mouth and nose. Mark the child screamed into the rag, but his blood curdling, terrified screams were cut short, as he fell into a deep, deep sleep.

Chad sighed, and picked up the child. His stubby arms and short stature hindering him. But nevertheless, he persevered, determined to finally taste the flesh he had been craving for so long. Food that he had only ever heard of, had only ever vaguely tasted in dreams, or in the dark recesses of his mind. Chad had never allowed himself to think thoughts that included consuming children. I am most certainly not like that. Chad would say to himself. I would never harm a child. Not like those other ruffians. But Chad would never be able to hold up that facade for long, he would crack eventually. Like a glass container filled to its limits, the pressure becoming too much.

As Chad took all the back alleys he could on the way back to the Chocolate Factory, he was suddenly very worried. Where was he to keep this child? There was no way he could hide it from Charlie for long enough to have the meat be at its best. But his thoughts were interrupted by a voice calling out for him in the distance.

"Yo, Chad! What ya got there?" another Oompa Loompa hollered.

"O-Oh, nothing, Peter."

"Oh, alright then, Chad, tell me if you need anything-" Peter started, but cut himself short when he saw the mass in Chad's arms. "CHAD!! You got one!?! Here, hurry, follow me!"
