Bruised

Jumping out of a black London taxi, the first thing Johnny noticed was the swarm of press outside of the hospital. He quickly placed on his dark shades and payed the driver before heading over to where the crowd of paps were. As he got closer he realised they were too caught up interviewing what looked like a very upset Allie to noticed him.

Tears were filled in her eyes as she spoke out about Helena's condition. He hung around in the back wanting to know what she had to say...

"David Miller needs to be caught and needs to be stopped, Helena Bonham carter was brutally attacked by this man and has lost her baby because of him" her bottom lip quivered as she explained what was happening. Johnny felt his insides twist, his whole stomach flipped hearing what she had to say. Helena had lost the baby! Just what did that bastard do to her?

"She is currently in a very fragile state and we would appreciate you to be considerate and hold back from any more questions at this time, thank you" With that said she was then escorted back inside even as all the paps continued to shout questions at her and flash madly away with their cameras.

Johnny kept his head down and hurried inside before he was noticed. As soon as Allie spotted him she ran over and hugged him which he was a little taken back by. "I'm so happy you're here" she said with a sad smile, taking his arm she began leading him down the halls to where Helena was resting.

"What did that arsehole do to her Allie, and don't hold back" he asked as the walked down the hospital corridors together.

"Johnny I think it's best that Helena tells you herself"  Just at that moment they spotted Helena's doctor approached them.

"Dr Reed, how is she?" Johnny asked so full of concern especially seeing in the doctors face that it wasn't looking good.

"Understandably devastated, the fall had her landing flat on her stomach and face bruising the womb and therefore causing her to bleed out" he explained as Johnny took all this in. What fall? Did David push her? He could literally feel his blood boiling this very second.

"The blow was too harsh for the baby to survive, from what I can see Helena had struggled, there are signs of beatings to her face and bruising around her neck..." Johnny's jaw clenched at this and his eyes grew colder in hate. Suddenly he felt numb and everything Allie and the doctor were saying now was just white noise. David had beaten her? Not only that but it sounds as if he tried killing her too....

"You mean he tried to strangle her?!" He whispered filled with such loathing and anger that Allie was quick to run her hand up and down his back to calm him. She could see just how affected he was by this news and couldn't help her eye water slightly knowing just how he felt.

"I'm afraid that's what it looks like, she's in a very fragile state Mr Depp, she doesn't want to see anyone"

Shaking his head Johnny sighed. "I have to see her Doctor" he pleaded which had Dr Reed glancing towards Allie as if asking her if he should. She smiled softly and nodded towards him telling Dr Reed it was alright.

"Follow me"

After telling Allie to go home and get some rest Johnny asked the doctors to leave him and Helena alone for tonight. He told them that he would stay with her throughout the course of the night and call them if they were needed. Dr Reed had been a little concerned because Helena had clearly instructed him she didn't want to see anyone. However Johnny was very persuasive and Dr Reed new that secretly Helena would be glad to have him close by.

It was about half 8 and most of the hospital had cleared out of patients and nurses leaving just those who needed to stay over night. As Johnny headed into Helena's private hospital room he closed the door softly behind him.
