"Are you sure about this, Uncle Severus?" I asked as he finished brewing a potion.

"Are you questioning my methods, (Y/N)? And it's Professor Snape to you."

"I really don't think a potion to Diagon Alley is very... safe."

"It's not a potion to Diagon Alley it is a potion that will make you able to withstand the symptoms of Apparition as I will apparate us there."

He finished the potion and tossed to me. I quickly caught it.

"Drink it as fast as the effects dissolve when in contact with oxygen."

I nodded, popped off the top, and instantly gulped it down. I breathed for air only once I was done with every last drop. I tossed it back to him and he caught it with I think the spell Wingardium Leviosa.

"I thought you never used magic, Uncle Severus."

"My hands are preoccupied, (Y/N)."

He then spun around and grabbed my wrist. We instantly apparated to Diagon Alley.

I stumbled at the landing, shocked by the sudden change.

"Come, (Y/N), we must take you to Gringotts."

"R-right! Coming!"

I felt for my key, which I had in my pocket. I sighed with relief that I didn't lose it in the apparition.

Uncle Severus briskly walked into Gringotts, me following suit. He turned and looked at me when we reached the desk. I cleared my throat.

"I am (Y/N) (L/N) and I would like to enter my vault. Here is my key." I turned to Uncle Severus with a hopeful smile on my face. He nodded... I think.

"Vault 686" the goblin taking us to my vault said. "Key please" I almost dropped my key in the process of giving it to him, earning myself a disapproving look from Uncle Severus. I sighed and walked into my now open vault. There wasn't too much in there, but there was more than enough in each of my neatly stacked towers of each currency and treasure inside. I took a handful of each type of coin and placed them in separate pockets inside my change purse. I then walked out and back to the cart. We then left the bank.

"You could've done better," I heard my uncle tell me as we left, briskly walking.

"Sorry... let's get all my books now." He nodded and we briskly walked to Flourish and Blotts. We quickly found it all and I was proud to say I paid for it all.
